"I contacted them with very little notice before they were needed for a job (finding an electrician was not on my list of duties to address, but someone forgot to take care of it), and they were able to get in on the second day of the project and get everything squared away. They understood what we wanted done, and made it happen. Will definitely use them again for our next electrical project."
"Once we found a time that worked for both of us, I asked how much it would be. Was told $85. They walk in my house without putting on shoe coverings (we have new carpet) and shoe coverings should just be a given for any service coming into a customer house. The one he sent couldn't figure it out. He was here for MAYBE 10 minutes; he called someone to try and figure it out, ended up going to Menards to purchase a different switch, (that's ok), was gone MAYBE 45 minutes, installe switch and charged $200. Upon my arrival home in the evening, switch did not work. Had to keep another switch on to make the one they installed work. He sent another young man the next day after and he was here MAYBE 10 minutes (and the owner implied he should charge more since they had to come back- REALLY???) I asked if we could some money refunded and was told I could stop by the shop and get 1/2 hour refunded. He can keep is $42.50 to send his employees to school. My opinion total cost should not have been more than $100."
"This is a truly great company. They provide great customer service and spend time explaining the details and answering questions. My husband obsessed about every single detail and could not deny that it was a no brainer. Our first electric bill since installing the panels was a CREDIT! I was not expecting that. If you have ever considered solar, seriously, just do it. Long term, you can not go wrong."

"Called at 11:30 a.m. and Chris was here by about 12:10 p.m. Figured out the problem within about 15 minutes. A switch on our older receiver just needed to be set on another setting. I asked if he wanted payment now or will he send a bill. Chris called the boss and the boss said not to charge anything since no parts were needed and it took chris such a short time to figure it out. I was not even charged for a service call! He just asked that we spread the word about the company! You just do not see anything like this very often anymore. Chris gave me some business cards and I will for sure pass them out to friends and spread the word. How refreshing it is that a business like this still exists. I would highly recommend this company and will call them again the next time I need something and will be willing to pay whatever they charge as I know it will be a fair price. I realize that I just happened t call at a good time and that no company can come out so fast and I realize that most of the time it will cost something. But they could have easily charged at least a service call and they did not. This is a sign of a truly outstanding company. Please use them, they are outstanding! "
Yes, splicing wires can cause a fire if the splicing is done incorrectly. This is why splicing wires is a task best handled by electricians. One of the most common mistakes made when splicing wires is not using a wire connector. Without a wire connector, electricity flows unsheathed and can result in a home electrical fire.
Yes, pool pumps use a significant amount of electricity, making them one of the biggest energy consumers in a home. A pool pump can use up to three times as much electricity as a refrigerator. Typically, a residential pool pump consumes about 1 kilowatt-hour (kWh) for every hour it runs. Because pumps often need to run for about eight hours a day to properly filter the water, this can add up to an annual consumption of 3,000 to 5,000 kWh, which can cost between $480 and $800 per year based on average electricity rates.
The amount of electricity your pump uses depends on its size, energy efficiency, and daily run time. To lower your energy consumption, you can choose an energy-efficient or variable-speed pump, ensure it is correctly sized for your pool, and run it only for the minimum time required to keep the water clean.
You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.
A wire stripping tool is the easiest way to strip sheathing or plastic insulation from electrical wires. A self-adjusting wire stripper cuts and removes the sheathing without damaging the core wire.
If the outlet is a GFCI model, this is normal since these outlets have their own breakers that shut off when they encounter a problem—just hitting the reset button should solve the issue. Otherwise, the outlet could have bad wiring, or your circuit breaker could be having issues. If the issue started out of nowhere and is not on a GFCI outelt, it’s best to contact an electrician to diagnose the issue.
