"I live in New England and own a property in Iowa that belonged to my husband who passed away recently. We put the property up for sale and were informed the property was overgrown with weeds and trash and litter everywhere The lawn needed a lot of work. I called several lawn companies trying to get this cleaned up. None of them were interested or just didn’t return my calls. I contacted Home Advisor, and within two hours Brandon from Hemlock Tree Service called. I explained I’m 1200 miles away and desperate to get this place cleaned up and the property sold. Brandon went out the same day, and called me that very night with a quote. I agreed on the price and the very next day he completed the work. "I have to say, Bill's Tree Service is the BEST tree service company I have ever had work done with. Other companies came, bid, then no showed me. But Bill is the ultimate professional. He arrived on time for the consultation. Was very personable, drove a spotless vehicle and spent over an hour going over my entire property. I was prepared for being told that I would need to have trees brought down but no. There was not one tree that needed removed, just trimmed and groomed. I was out of town when his crew did the job but as the consummate professional, at 7:00 am I received a text with pictures showing his crew on the job and starting work. It was a full 2 day job, an hour from Sioux City but they were there, did an awesome job and a perfect cleanup above and beyond what I expected. I just wish I could have thanked the crew in person. What I wish the most is that I had called Bill last summer to look at a big, huge beautiful tree that was brought down by another cutter, that in retrospect could have been saved and enjoyed for many, many more years to come. There is truly a difference between an arborist and just a run of the mill tree service. A hard lesson learned. So thank you Bill and crew. "Pros: Price, professionalism, insurance, great cleanup. Cons: None. Needed a tree removed that was directly between the rear of my house and shed. I also requested to have a nearby limb on an adjacent tree trimmed back. Decided I would get 5 quotes prior to making my decision on service provider. Deciding factors for me: insurance, price. Westbrook came in with the best price and speedy service - I asked when they could be here, and they said "tomorrow." Westbrook employees operated responsibly and professionally when on my property. Services were completed within roughly 4 hours of start time, and the cleanup was impressive. My wife commented that the patio area around where the tree was taken down was actually cleaner than it was prior to tree removal. Great job guys!"
