So we recently secured the foundation of our home with Groundworks. First, let me point out that stabilizing the foundation of your home can be a daunting undertaking. It is also one of the most responsible ways to perserve the equity in your property. Groundworks has a reputation for excellence in preparation, execution, and problem-solving in foundation work. But we had never had to address this level of home renovation and the extensive landscaping in our yard complicated the scope of our project. While we were concerned about our project's complexity, we were extremely relieved at the high level of knowledge, competence, communication, customer service, and professionalism awarded to us by the Groundworks foundation team. Our foreman Clem, and his team (Luis, Noah, Ran, and Rokk) literally went above and way beyond our expectations to explain next steps, listen to us, problem-solve, and execute a solution to every concern we raised. Clem was a constant and reassuring presence on-site, informing us continually throughout the process to ensure our level of confidence and understanding. As he put it, "I am here to take care of you." He meant that, and he certainly did. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I have owned rentals properties in Lincoln for over a decade and I have hired a lot of contractors to do a myriad of work for the houses over the years. Thrasher has hands down been the best company I have ever hired. From the very first day I called them, they were the most professional, polite, and honest people I have ever seen. When Trevor came out to see what needed to be done (a leaking egress window, which was improperly installed by another company, Thrasher was there to fix their mistakes) he gave the most in-depth analysis of what the problem was I have ever seen. I had two other companies come and look at the same problem, one of which did not even go into the basement and gave me a cookie cutter answer. After Trevor told me what the problem was, he went in-depth on how they would fix it. He had brought a laptop in that showed me the exact products they would be installing, how it was installed, cost and everything in the most professional way I have ever seen, and this was on the spot! Once the work began they laid down plastic over the stairs, through the kitchen and to the garage to keep the house clean. Not only that, but they also turned off the HVAC system and covered it! Something I would have never even thought of. Again, the workers were polite and courteous, cleaned up after themselves and left the place in better condition than when they started. All in all, I cannot give them any higher of a praise. I hope that I never need their services again, but if I ever have a problem that they specialize in, they will be my first and only phone call for the repairs. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"They were efficent and completed the work in one day.  They were clean and left no mess, covered the floors so they remained clean.  One of the workmen  fixed by door to the garage with a a specail screw so it does not stick any loner when opening and closing the door.  Also told me how to tighten my screen door so it will not sag in the future.  Nice bonus.
