Double D Drywall

Excellent, Frank and his Assistant were great to work with and very fair with the price, very fair. The work is absolutely amazing can't even tell where the patch was made. Would absolutely and plan to rehire Double D Drywall. Go with them and you'll be extremely happy.

The work went awesome. Frank was always quick to respond to phone calls and requests. He went out of his way to get us moved up in the schedule and even did weekend work to get this one completed in a timely manner. They took great care in setting up and getting all areas well covered and protected from dust. The work was completed in a quick manner and was extremely high quality. Would recommend to anyone.

Frank did an outstanding job.  He's "old school" and does things the right way.  Definitely takes pride in his work.  Fair prices and you couldn't find a more honest and genuinely nice person.  I will definitely use Frank anytime I need future drywall work and highly recommend him.

On time, did great work, kept us informed and cleaned up when done.  When repairing the bathroom ceiling found it was still wet and tore out some additional drywall to see the issue; discussed it with us and then even delayed the repair to the last day of scheduled work while waiting for the plumber to arrive so they did not have to come back again.  Very good to work with from the estimate to the finished product.  I would recommend them for any work and would use them again if needed.

We had several holes in the boys room. Also refinished the area around the shower and also re did a wall in the bathroom. Then repaired a loose tape joint in the living room that has been in need or repair for 10 years. All the work looks very professional.

I had previously contacted Frank with Double D drywall for a bid on the installation of my drywall for my basement.  He indicated he does the finish work and that he would sub-contract out the hanging.  We discussed options and he gave me a quote on the finish work.  
I utilized another company that would do the complete job (hanging, taping and muddying).  I was not satisfied with their finish and so called Frank and asked if he would come take a look and see if I was just being "picky" as the other company suggested.  Once Frank showed up (on time - which the other company never did); we walked through the entire basement project.  He agreed with my assessment and found a significant number of flaws.  He gave me a quote of approximately $500 to fix the defects.  We agreed on a date for the work to be started.
 On the assigned day, Franks crew arrived on time and went to work.  They completed the job as promised in the two day period and their work was exceptional.  During all of the time I have talked with Frank, he takes the time to discuss in detail exactly what his work will entail and how it will be accomplished.  His crew even clean up after themselves both days (another issue the previous company failed to do).  Frank was patient and never made me feel as if I was not important to him or my opinions were "off base".  
I would recommend Frank with Double D Drywall for any drywall repair or finish work.  He specializes in the smaller jobs that the bigger companies can not be bothered with.
In fact I have contracted with him again to work on my upstairs drywall repairs.

Frank and his team member were on time, amiable, professional and flexible.  Frank agreed to work with us, although we were outside of his typical radius.  My husband is an engineer, and very handy.  He recently had spinal surgery and could not complete the repairs himself.   This background information to say he is very selective about the repair work completed in our home.  For him to be thrilled with the quality of Frank's work is a testimony to Frank's craftsmanship.  I was ecstatic because my husband did not "go behind" the person once the work was completed to "fix" their work. 

We have four canine kids and Frank always greeted them and was very flexible about them being in the home.  We initiated day boarding them the last day as Frank and his team member were sanding and we felt it was best for all that the dogs be on a "staycation." 

Frank, we are grateful you agreed to work with us and we hope if we need you in the future, you will consider a field trip back to Nebraska City!  Frank's work is super, and his prices are very fair for the quality of his work, his professionalism, and his overall level of customer service.  We highly recommend him and intend to utilize his services in the future as needed.

They did a fantastic job.   Matched to existing ceiling texture to perfection.  They blended the drywall into existing walls great.  cannot tell where the addition joined the existing house or where doors were once located and filled in once we painted.   Took great care in making it all look like it was always part of the house.   Did a great job cleaning up when done to.   We will be calling back in the near future to have them help us out with our next drywall project for sure!!!!

Frank took care of all of it!  I couldn't ask for better work!  He even took care of areas I didn't know were there!  He was on time and finished within his time frame.  I would highly recommend Double D!  Frank took the time to explain to me what he would do and why.  Double D is exactly what a service provider should be!

Frank was professional and timely. His family of swirls were spot on in the living room and dinning room. Hard to tell the new from the old. The back bedroom was done by his apprentice. Frank is an expert in this, to match the swirls that were established many many years ago on a plaster ceiling takes skill. He laid out plastic to cover the wood floors, and came back when there was a forgotten area over the back door. I did not have to remind him of this. He also did not demand full payment until the entire job was done, unlike the 1 contractor we dealt with in Lincoln. When his work was done, is when he issued a statement. I found him to be an honest contractor, with expert ability. His prices were fair, and I would recommend him to all. He was pleasant to work with.

Worked two days, and were prompt as well as knowledgeable and professional. Applied new compound and sanded in preparation for painting.

Working with Frank went fantastic! It was a quick and smooth process. Frank returned my calls promptly and was incredibly professional. He had a cancellation and even moved me up on his schedule.

We had an unfinished room in our lower level walkout that needed to be drywalled. We contacted Frank with Double D and he came out and gave us an estimate within two days. His estimate was detailed and complete. He explained the time frame and worked out a date that would work for us and our schedule. Frank called the day before to make sure we were ready and he and his crew arrived on time as promised. We removed the popcorn ceilings from our entire first floor of our home totaling about 1200 Sq ft. Frank and Andrew textured the ceilings, repaired ceiling when lighting fixtures were removed, and new canned lights installed. They skim coated and repaired another area, and touched up all of our walls from nail holes, dings etc. Frank and Andrew did a fantastic job. Frank was a pleasure to work with. Prompt to answer initial call, came over as scheduled to give an estimate, and was able to get the job done within our timeframe with other projects. I would highly recommend Double D Drywall for any drywall or ceiling job. They also did a nice job of cleaning up when finished.

Excellent. After being stood up by two other local drywall businesses, I finally found a great dry wall contractor (through Angie's list). Prompt, professional, responsive, fair pricing and excellent work. Will definitely use for all of my dry wall repairs in the future!!!
