So we recently secured the foundation of our home with Groundworks. First, let me point out that stabilizing the foundation of your home can be a daunting undertaking. It is also one of the most responsible ways to perserve the equity in your property. Groundworks has a reputation for excellence in preparation, execution, and problem-solving in foundation work. But we had never had to address this level of home renovation and the extensive landscaping in our yard complicated the scope of our project. While we were concerned about our project's complexity, we were extremely relieved at the high level of knowledge, competence, communication, customer service, and professionalism awarded to us by the Groundworks foundation team. Our foreman Clem, and his team (Luis, Noah, Ran, and Rokk) literally went above and way beyond our expectations to explain next steps, listen to us, problem-solve, and execute a solution to every concern we raised. Clem was a constant and reassuring presence on-site, informing us continually throughout the process to ensure our level of confidence and understanding. As he put it, "I am here to take care of you." He meant that, and he certainly did. We can enthusiastically state that working with, and completing our foundation project with Groundworks was a GREAT experience!"

"Mike Schmidt and his team delivered a great kitchen and it wasn't easy to make our small 1940s kitchen an efficient clean and beautiful room. Mike Schmidt really is a talent and he went the extra mile solving any and all issues regarding the job. We chose a clean modern cabinet but i wanted to keep open glass doors on one side of the upper cabinets. Mike searched for a glass door that we wanted and matched the glossy finish perfectly which required some real effort. He also was great at seeing our vision and giving us choices while also being open about what in his experience will work and meet our expectations. The kitchen is fantastic and i am so impressed with the level of detail. Everything is straight and level which wasn't the case in our old kitchen prior to the renovation. We stayed on budget and his team was hardworking and professional. The whole thing took 2 to 3 weeks. Mr. Schmidt was on site daily to look at the progress and keep us aware of what was happening. We would highly recommend him and his crew! And he and his crew also built our shed for us after our house was completed. They did this with no concerns and was very prompt!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
