Davis Construction Inc.Ryan arrived as stated to review the job and provide a quote. He emailed the quote within 2 days. The quote was online with other quotes I obtained. He responded to any emails I sent that same evening. He and his crew were professional in all aspected of their job. They arrived on time each day of the job. They used full sheets of plywood to protect the siding of my house and the neighbors when they tore off the old shingles. The cleaned up each night and left no debris after each of the 3 days of work. The roof was removed and tar paper put on day 1, reshingled on day 2 and the porch was fixed on day 3. I highly recommend David Construction and will use them again in the future.- John H.

Davis Construction Inc.Fantastic! They fixed the leak and no leaks since. They were careful enough in removing my shingles, so that I did not have to purchase new ones. Very professional and knowledgeable. They were available within a few days to schedule the work. I felt confident that they were going to do the job right. Davis Construction Inc.Their follow up was horrible. They did an excellent job on the roof, but I asked them to put soffits, gutters, fascia and other stuff on. They came back and did that two days before Christmas in a blizzard. The roof was covered with ice and they were up there on scaffolds. It was like a joke. It seems he just wanted to get the job done. The fascia he put is just waffled, dimpled, and wavy. It is not the way it is supposed to be. They showed up with the wrong color gutters but I said to go ahead and put it on anyway. I specifically had told them that I wanted it done when the temperature was 50 degrees or more so they could put the spray foam sealing underneath the cracks so that the wasps did not get in there. It is pretty hard to do that in a blizzard. It is hard to say if I will use them again. They did an awesome job on the roof but a terrible job on the gutters, soffits, fascia and diverter. The young man who did the roofing job did an excellent job. The management which made the decisions and the follow up did not do well. I had to call them for almost six months to get them here and make the guy accept that it was his fault that the diverter was not right. That diverter was faulted and resulted in a leak. I had these huge storage containers under the roof and they were full of water. It was a disaster. They did not caulk it enough. It was a strange experience. My grades are for the roof work only. I paid $7800 for the roof work and the other $2200 was for the other work.- Paula I.

DOW CONSTRUCTIONAll of this was done by phone, as we were away for the summer. We had family who told us we had gallons of water coming through the front room. Someone sent a photograph of the hole and we started with an outrageous quote by the builder's roofer, and then asked around for referrals. My daughter had her roof done by this company and was happy with the work. The most amazing part was that we were gone and he just handled it all in one or two days. It was then fixed on the inside by another contractor, with no mold or unfixable damage. I would certainly use this company again.- Marvella B.

Iowa RoofProsThe experience went very well. In my request for quotes process, which included more than a dozen requests, I had around 8 contractors actually quote the job. I found interesting the spread in quoted price from anywhere around 3500 to as high as 7500. Roofco was a little less than halfway in between that range and stood by the quoted price without any surprises in the end. Of the contractors that did not reply I would question whether they were insured or licenced since I specifically asked for this in my RFQ. I have piece of my, whether actual or perceived, that the manufacturer will stand by their materials since Roofco uses the products from the same (Tamko) manufacturer. Jamison was very perfessional in the manner in which he documented and marketed his goods and services. He demonstrated a high degree of interest and knowledge in the actual engineering specifications of the materials he uses and how to properly use them. The cleanup went very well, though a few stray nails which is to be expected, and the job completed in a very timely manner. The first rainfall did prove to result in a few minor leaks which were promptly addressed and the leaks have been remedied. It should be noted that Jamison even stated so much in discussion of the work that, though he doesn't absolutely guarantee that leaks won't show up, he will guarantee that they will be fixed. There has been rain since and no sign of leakage. Not to take away anything from this contractor, I would highly recommend anyone looking to spend, what I consider, a significant amount of money and substantial investment to get multiple quotes and to monitor closely the work being performed. I was particularly diligent in my efforts to get this done right as I heard of numerous bad experiences from others about getting their properites re-roofed. I most certainly would recommend Roofco to others.- David S.

Iowa RoofProsRoofco worked well with the Solar Company so the roof installation did not delay the solar panel installation. Jamieson also patiently worked with us on the selection of appropriate products for a complicated application. The workers were hard-working and cleaned up all evidence of the removal of the old shingles. They repeatedly cleaned up the site, an absolute must since we have small grandchildren that frequent our yard! The bid and work were prompt, and even a few extras services were even added at no additional cost. We are happy with the final result and are thrilled to report after the recent downpours---not a single leak.- Mary M.

This company is absolutely amazing! From the quality of the windows to the professionalism of the staff they deserve a five star all around! It took several months for our windows to come in but they are SO worth the wait! Once they got them they came out and got them installed right away! The installation was very quick and easy! They helped educate us thru the entire process as this was our first time replacing any windows! The staff was awesome! Answering any and all of our questions! So helpful and kind! We used to have MAJOR drafting with our old windows and our new ones dont have any! Its overwhelming to see and feel the difference our new windows make! We are so incredibly happy with our new windows from Window Depot! I don't honestly think there is a better quality window or company that even compares!

They told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
