"They were supposed to arrive between 1 and 3 pm.  At 12:30 pm, Victor called to say he had truck problems and didn't know if he would make it, asking if we wanted to reschedule for the next day or wait it out.  We said we would wait it out since we had already taken the day off work.  He showed up about 3:30.
Finalized the quote with me, which came out just a little higher than originally anticipated based on my expectations from our conversations. difference in tile calculations I think.  He also had issues calculating his tax, which he corrected with no issues.  Once they started the work, he and his associate worked systematically through the house to get all the vents - I think they only missed one out of 30 vents in the house.  They washed all the vent covers, vacuumed around the openings and cleaned up any leftover debris.  He gave us a good deal on cleaning the high traffic area of the bedroom carpet since he was here already (the carpet takes at least 12 hours to dry thoroughly).  The last thing done was the tile and grout cleaning.  Tile looks great, and I'm hoping the grout sealant will last at the minimum two years he is estimating.  He used our water for all the services, which is fine, since we have city water - but if you had well water, you might want to think carefully.

They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before.
