"Trinity Tree Service was very quick to assess my needs and concerns about a tree that I felt was leaning dangerously close to my house. They did an excellent job and were very courteous and friendly. Their price was lower than their competitors by a good bit, (a few hundred dollars). I was very pleased with the job performed and the fair price. If I ever need another tree removed from my property, I will absolutely call on Trinity Tree Service."

"Connor and his crew did an excellent job removing the limbs of a tree before cutting it down to avoid damages to property around the tree. They worked fast, safely and efficiently. I highly recommend this company. Connor is truly mindblowing with his knowledge. Not many 19 year olds work as if they've had 20 years experience but this boy sure does!"

"These guys did a great job! As soon as I put the post out that I need work done, Scott called me immediately and was on site to look at the job first thing the very next morning. He gave me a fair estimate and was a very nice guy! I honestly had other quotes that were cheaper than these guys, but their prompt response is what got them the job! Now that I’ve seen their work, they will be getting a call whenever I might need something else done, or if I have a friend in need of work as well. I highly recommend them!! Thanks again guys!!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Pruning trees is important for several reasons. It improves tree health and strength by removing dead, diseased, or unwanted branches, which in turn encourages new growth and can help treat disease. For fruit trees, proper pruning can lead to a larger and better-quality harvest. Pruning also enhances safety by removing weak limbs that could break and fall, potentially causing injury or property damage, especially during storms. Beyond these functional benefits, pruning can also improve a tree's appearance. To ensure pruning is done correctly for the tree's long-term health, consider hiring a professional.

In the case that a tree is growing directly on your property line, the cost of maintaining the tree is shared and is the property of both owners in common. In this case, all decisions regarding the maintenance of the tree must be made jointly, and both parties must agree on a course of action. You will need to agree with your neighbor about the cutting of any roots before you carry it out, and your neighbor must also consult with you before doing any trimming. Coming to an agreement with your neighbor about any shared trees ahead of necessary trimming and maintenance will make this process much simpler.

Yes, burning wood with Dutch elm disease is a safer way to dispose of it than, say, tossing it in with the rest of your yard waste, which could potentially allow it to spread to healthy trees. But it’s always a good idea to check with your local government to make sure you’re complying with any ordinances about removing diseased trees as well as burning brush piles.

A tree can split because of high winds, a change in temperature, or from an infestation or tree disease. All of these factors can overlap, making a single cause difficult to pinpoint. While winter storms are some of the most common causes for a tree to split, it can also happen because of termites or rot.

A tree growing close to a house can pose several risks, but removal isn't always the only or best solution. Potential problems include roots growing into the foundation and causing structural cracks, branches damaging the roof or promoting moss growth, and debris clogging gutters, which can lead to water damage. Trees can also provide access for pests and encourage mold. However, a small, healthy tree may not be a problem, and for larger, established trees, strategic trimming can be a cheaper and more beneficial alternative to removal. It is generally recommended to take action for trees within 10 to 20 feet of your home, especially if they are unhealthy or encroaching. Your best bet is to consult a professional arborist who can assess the specific situation and provide expert advice.
