Family owned since 1989, Bardi is rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau, was awarded Business of the Year in 2013 by the Gwinnett Chamber and received Best Customer Service by the BBB. Bardi is heavily involved with the community and offers free electronics pick-up and recycling during service calls to benefit Nobis Works, a nonprofit that supports people with disabilities seeking to join the workforce.

"I requested a HVAC tech come out to my home as my AC was not working properly. The tech recommended that I get a new AC. He told me he would have his sales rep come out to talk to me about the options I would have as far as replacing it. Their sales rep showed up. His name is Jimmy, and he told me all these great things about Bardi and their products. We came to an agreement of my buying a cheap HVAC system as I was trying to save money. It would cost me 12,000 dollars for the system. The next day April 5th, 2025 their install tech came out and installed the equipment. I was at work at the time, but I had a family member there. I returned home to find out the lower level of my home was not being cooled, and they had left part of my old HVAC system connected to the new system. It was a burnt up disconnect that should have been replaced and was a major part of what was wrong with my old system. Also they used a panel cover from my old system instead of new. I asked Jimmy to come and pick up the equipment which it states I have three days to reject the equipment in the contract. He expressed that I couldn't reject the equipment after it was installed. They had a tech come out the next day April 6, 2025 to fix the downstairs not working, and he fixed it. The next day it happened to be cold outside so I turned on the heat. No heat was coming out of the vents just cool air and the fan unit was running extremely loud outside. It was so loud it sounded like the fan unit was in my room on the second floor, so I turned it off. When I did turn off the fan unit made a horrible exploding noise. Once again I called Bardi and asked them to come get their HVAC system, they refused. Crystal the customer care rep is who I spoke with. She scheduled another repair tech to come out on April 12th to look at the HVAC system. I waited the entire day and no one showed up. I finally called and the receptionist told me it was their employee appreciation day no one would be coming. Monday I received a call from Crystal their customer care rep stating she text me and told me no one would be coming, but I never received that text. She scheduled another appointment for Easter Sunday. I stayed home Easter Sunday instead of going to church, and no one showed up again. I've stated each and every time I've spoken with someone from Bardi that I don't want to do business with them but they are basically trying to force me to keep their equipment at this point. This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. These people are trying to rip their customers off basically. This should be illegal. I've reach out to get a lawyer to force them to remove their equipment from my home. Stay away from these people at all cost."

Once you’ve determined the optimal sprinkler head setup, it’s time to call in the pros. Sprinkler head installation is labor-intensive and complicated. Not to mention, you run the risk of hitting utilities when you dig.

For new construction installations, install the sprinkler heads after the landscape beds have been built and before any turf grass has been installed.

Each sprinkler zone should have five to 10 sprinkler heads. The water source for sprinkler systems has an average of 30 to 50 PSI and 5 to 8 GPM. On the lower end of these ranges, you’ll need fewer sprinkler heads per zone. The number of sprinkler heads per zone you need ultimately depends on the size of the zone, the water pressure, and the flow rate.

The average sprinkler system uses about 16 gallons of water per minute, per station. To determine how much water your sprinkler system uses, multiply the minutes by how many zones you have. Multiply this by 16 gallons so you know how much you use in one watering day. If you have four zones that run for 10 minutes twice a week, that equates to 640 gallons per day. Eight watering days make your usage 5,120 gallons per month. Use this baseline to determine if your water bill is unusually high.

Installing a home sprinkler system costs an average of $4,000, with prices ranging from $1,600 to $14,000. It’s less expensive to install a system in an unfinished home ($0.80 to $2 per square foot) than it is to add one to a finished home ($2 to $7 per square foot). Sprinklers are also more expensive to install in high-rise buildings, for which you can expect to pay a minimum of $4 per square foot.

Sprinkler heads need a pressure of 30 PSI, with an operating range of 15 to 30 PSI. Drip lines also need a similar operating rate of 15 to 30 PSI and a pressure of 20 PSI. If the pressure is too low, the water won't be evenly distributed, but if the pressure is too high, parts of the lawn or garden will be over-watered and possibly damaged by friction from the high pressure. These components need operating ranges rather than a hard and fast PSI to keep the sprinkler system efficient.
