"Lesson learned. Always get an estimate. BEFORE the work is done. At least a digital copy. Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."

We have hired a number of contractors in our day. Professional Home Improvement (PHI) is far and away the best company we have ever worked with. (2) Expert, hard-working, trustworthy tradesmen and connections to suppliers. This is something that is absolutely essential to the experience of undergoing a remodel. Can you trust the expert skills of the tradesmen your contractor assembles and whose activities they coordinate? Are you comfortable with their presence in your home? Do they consistently deliver value while onsite? We have shared our home with the tradesmen enlisted by Dennis & Jean for several months, throughout phases 1, 2, and 3. We look forward to their arrival in our home, admire their skill, hard work, and dedication to doing things right, and are completely comfortable with having them in our home. Dennis & Jean also have longstanding relationships with many sources and suppliers, greatly streamlining the process of finding and selecting the right paint, flooring, equipment, etc. (3) Reasonable prices yielding exceptional value, with careful and thorough accounting. Dennis & Jean are sensitive to price and value, exacting in presenting options and prices, and careful and thorough in their accounting.
