  I don't think there were additional costs.They had to come back a second time because the door didn't work. It started getting horrifically worse. So, I had to call them back. So, they came back, and they took care of it. The other person who came was very helpful, and he took care of the situation. That will be probably using going forward. It was fixed, the problem was addressed and they fixed it. I was happy with that.The original door is an old door; it's manual it's not an automatic.So, I explained to them that it was very tight to pull up manually, and I demonstrated. They said fine, I think we can handle this. He worked so well. I think he was there for an hour. I left my son to sign the paperwork. I came back I checked the door it looked fine. I would say within a week and the second week it started to get stuck it was very difficult to open again. It was very progressive. I could barely open the garage door. So, I called them back and explained what happened and they said: "Okay, we'll send somebody out." I mean I didn't want to get into another problem. They were very accommodating. The second technician that came out, he took care of it great, I was very pleased. He gave me other options he gave me his card. He said listen if you want to keep this garage door there's a few things you can tweak to make it better, going forward I'll be happy to come back. So, that was good. In other words, the second visit wiped out the first visit that didn't go that well because for some reason something didn't work well on that door. The quality of work was very good.   The serviceman technician was polite and helpful. He diagnosed the problem and provided us with several options. We chose the option that best suited us and he installed a new belt assembly and lubricated the door and all the points in the system as well as checking the electric connections and replacing a light.   We had a metal garage door from Costco that was installed by one of their contractors. The The system is about 5 years old. Our door was getting stuck up on very hot days and seemed to be closing incompletely. The Baker guy found that a reinforcing bar was not installed at the top panel as is needed for doors with automatic openers. Some of the wires in the opener were also loose and losing electrical contact. There was a folding bend in the top panel panel at the center that had developed because of the lack the reinforcement. He straightened out the bent panel almost completely, attached a reinforcing bar and fixed the wiring. Everything is working perfectlyshow more

  My driveway was in terrible shape. Mr. Horton oversaw the concrete work and even had the sidewalk from the driveway to the front door replaced. It looks great. Even my neighbors have come over to talk with him about doing work for them. I had an open carport but wanted it converted to a garage. The garage is now finished and looks beautiful. Even though the house was built in 1964, his sub-conractor was able to find the matching bricks, so the garage looks like it as built at the same time as the house. He placed motion sensor carriage lights on the front of the garage, as well as a steel door in the side wall of the garage so that I can get to the trash containers without having to go outside. I picked out the lights and Mr. Horton went and picked them up. I had forgetten to get a small light for the outside of the steel door and he matched the side light to the carriage lights perfectly. He can pick out any fittings any time for me. I am thrilled with my new garage and have additional items I want done around my house. I have aready hired Horton Remodeling to make these alterations for me. My driveway was in terrible shape.   The job went perfectly. My old toilet, tub and sink in the master bath were replaced. Mr. Horton was to pick up any of the items that needed to be replaced. My tub was shipped from out of state and Mr. Horton met the driver and put the tub in his storage unit until it was installed. He also removed all of the old tile from around my tub and since the tub was twice as tall as any normal tub, he had to replace all of the plumbing relating to the tub as well as set up the electricity for the jets in the tub. Mr. Horton tore up all of the old carpet and replaced it with the new. The room looks beautiful and feels so comfortable. I think the price was very reasonable. I will try to submit photos when the wallpaper is installed. Mr. Horton can do just about anything but does not do roofing or wallpapering. I would highly recommend Mr. Horton to any who wants someone reasonable to perform their workshow more

He arrived on time and explained to me what had happened and made the repair in a timely manner as I had to be to work.   After a lightening strike in the back yard, the garage door motor started to close the door but immediately stopped. My diagnosis of the problem and replacing some parts did not solve the problem.. On the same day that I called Padgett Garage Doors, they arranged to come by that afternoon and carefully checked over the system to diagnosis the source of the problem. The nearby lightening strike had created an unusual problem, but they continued working until they found the answer to the strange situation.
