Terry was so professional and courteous! Corrected some of the past owner's quick fixes and I couldn't have been happier.

Work went well.  Before install, adjustments and repairs had to be made to door.    Door is 50 years old and creaky.  Work was well done, in a timely manner, and to proposal specs.

I called to see when Terry could come out to replace our broken garage door spring and he was able to come out that same day. Even more importnat was that it was a Sunday!  He was able to look at the old broken spring and was able to replace it with one he had in his van in less than 1/2 hour.  
I had asked him to look at the other side I thought it would be good to replace both sides since both springs were old.  He examined it and told me it was fine and did not need replaced. He also took the time to examine other parts of the garage door and made a couple of adjustments.  He also lubricated all of the springs and door frames so the garage door was quieter than before.
It is good to know that there are honest people like Terry out there.  He could have easily replaced the second spring and charged me but was honest enough to not do so.  I would never use another garage door repair company and have already given him 3 reccomendations to people I work with and all have had the same excellent experience that I did.

I called and left message on the voicemail.  When I came home from running errands,  they had been there and made the repair.  It is so typical of their response to customers.  I have used Wright for more than 30 years and have always found them reliable and reasonable.

The work was completed on time.  There were no issues and everything went smoothly.  There were a couple questions had about the garage door work and he responded promptly.  He was responsive and in a timely manner.

He came within minutes of our call. He was courteous and professional.
He knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it right then. The
price was very fair. We had no problems with the garage door since it
was fixed.  Highly recommended. We keep his business card in the garage
in case we ever need him again.

They were terrific. He showed up very early in the morning and worked almost 12 hours without stopping. He was extraordinary. He did superior work.

He called back within an hour of our call.  He was at my hour an hour and a half later.  He is knowledgeable and friendly. 

For a few weeks, the garage door has been making a very bad sound -- but still working. I called Wright on Friday and they called me back within 3 hours. I returned the call on Monday and they were able to come out the same day. The fix took about 20-30 minutes. Terry said -- the garage door -- although very old -- is a very well built door and to not worry about replacing it until I absolutely had to.

When I discovered a broken spring on my garage door I called DC Wright and Terry Wright answered. I explained my problem and he said I am just 2 minutes away. It wasn't even two minutes and he was in my driveway unloading his tools and repairing my door. The whole job from my phone call to finish was less than an hour. By far the best response and service I have ever experienced. I had a cable replaced by another company in 2007 in an emergency and I had to wait a day and it cost $81.00 and I though that was fast and reasonable. The response and repair time was not only fast but also lot less expensive than I expected.

House is JR Beam and had steel beam in garage in place that made placement of openers difficult. Of the 3 bids we took, Terry Wright had the best solution and the best price. We have used him before for repairs on another home and he is always available on short notice, professional and reasonable.

Terry Wright came out to do the job. He was out here for about 45 minutes and the price was very reasonable. If I ever need a new garage door, I will definitely use this company.

I called Terry and he called back promptly. I made arrangements for him to come by the following day. On my way home in my car, he called and said he could come that evening. I told him when I'd be home and he was there right on time. He came prepared, based on my description, with all of the necessary parts. As he worked, he explained to me everything he did and even replaced a screw that was too long in one place that didn't affect the operation of the garage door, but just because it was wrong. He was finished in about an hour. He takes incredible pride in his work, which really instilled confidence in me.

Called late morning came out that evening. Fixed in record time. Very pleased. Nice guy.

He was wonderful. He came over the evening that I called him, he met me at my house and diagnosed it and fixed it within an hour and a half. He was a nice guy very pleasant and professional.

He showed up within 1 or 2 business days. However, because he didn't return my call, I was unsure of whether he got the message and whether he was going to do the work.

Our problem was that our garage door was jumping out of its track on one side. We contacted Terry Wright based on Angie's List recommendations and his proximity to our house. Terry arrived on schedule and immediately diagnosed the problem -- the garage door was aligned improperly when it was installed during construction of our home. Terry did a re-alignment and the door now works perfectly. In addition Terry serviced our garage door opener. It too had not been properly installed. Terry was thorough, competent and informative. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.

We're happy with the door although it took 2 months from signing the contract to installation when we were told 3-4 weeks. Although I would have liked the insulation benefits during the cold months, my anxiety was reduced by the fact that Terry did not require any deposit so I knew I was not going to lose money and that we would hear from him eventually if he wanted to be paid for the work. His price was somewhat higher than that of the 2 other contractors we contacted but it also included more, such as new hardware, getting rid of remnants of an older garage door system, installing matching vinyl perimeter seals around the non-standard sized door (which another business would not do), repairing our original garage light fixture, etc. He really is a detail man and it shows in the quality of the work. The marks I gave below that were not A's are mainly for Terry's priority to take care of customers whose cars are stuck in nonworking garages and other emergencies and the difference in timetables between expected and completed work. I understand that but it could be challenging for those with less flexible working schedules than I. The day he was scheduled to come to install the garage door, he came a couple hrs late in order to take care of a garage door emergency; however, he did call to inform me. Because he didn't finish all the work that day, the said he would be back possibly in one day, more likely in two, which ended to be three. The door was operational for those few days and in the long run, minor delays don't matter. Because I have sympathy for people with nonoperational garages who need their cars, I still highly recommend him and have complete confidence in the quality of his work.

Extremely pleased with the quality service I received. Terry was prompt and arrived when he said he would. He explained what he was doing and why. He made suggestions on other work that we should consider but did not employ hard sales tactics and even suggested that we could do some of the work ourselves. I received top-quality service from a professional who knows the garage door business from many years of working in the field and from researching products. I will use this company again.

Mr. Wright knows what he's doing and the price is right. Diagnosed the problem methodically and made the fix in short order. Took care to lobe, grease and tighten bolts on both doors while he was at it. I felt like he was taking care of my doors like they were his own.

Terry and his partner were responsive and polite. They did a quality job and the garage door now runs smoother than before. I'll use them again without hesitation.
