Central Ohio Garage Door

Terrible. 8 week process took close to 20 weeks with 0 follow up, terrible communication, broken promises and flat out lies…20 weeks and $3500 in and I finally have a door with no trim - and apparently noone there knows about door trim - do yourself a favor and call the next guy….

Everything was great and they are good people.

They were very professional and they also did an excellent job.

the garage door (not the powered opener) was binding and generally not working as it should. They corrected all the problems with that door and then went on to the other door to make sure it, too, was working properly. Nice fellow, very helpful. Would definitely use again.

Came out the same day I called. Only took a moment to fix it but very reasonable price for service  call and the repair. I had used him previously with the same excellent service.

I called at 9am on a Friday. They were at our home by 11am and the work was done by noon. Charles was the technician at our home and he was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained & showed me exactly what happened and needed replaced.  Very quick and efficient.

Angie's list is still bugging me for a review over 3 years later, so here goes: 
The service went fine. It probably only took them about 20 minutes to complete the work and so it didn't seem like much of a "deal" but the garage was quieter when they were done with the new wheels they put on and the lubrication. Overall, I was satisfied and would recommend them.

He analyzed our garage door problem and replaced the opener with state of the art technology. It works and has worked great ever since. A good deal. It cost about 480. The rest of the cost was the Angie's list deal for new rollers.

The huge spring on our garage door opener broke.  I'm so glad no damage was done to people or belongings.  We found a coupon on your web site from Central Ohio Garage Doors.  They had a good rating so we called them.  They came out exactly when they said they would.  The men were polite and knowledgeable.  They suggested we remove the old spring type opener and replace it with the torsion type which is much safer.  We have been pleased with the work they did.

When providing initial service check purchased, it was determined replacement parts and further work needed to be done.  They applied the cost of the purchase toward the work.  Staff was prompt and professional. 

He said there was no need to do anything.

He seems very knowledgeable about garage doors which I thought was great.  He fixed the problem really quickly.  I think as I recall I was having scheduling issues because he haven't really work with me on coming out a little later as he technically would.

During the tune up it was discovered our spring mechanism needed to be replaced.  The technician came and did the work the same day we called to setup the appointment because they had opening.  He was missing a part and he promptly went back to the shop and came back to do the job.  He was very professional and courteous and the garage door has been working great since the repair.

The service worked out great.  The scheduling was very easy and I would use them again.

   My godmother called me frantic that her garage door would not open. I had used and referred COGD before, so I did not hesitate to give her the number.  He was at her door in 45 minutes. Within an hour she was on her way to her appointment.
