"DP Tree Service is beyond excellent!! I searched Angie's List and found DP Tree Service and I highly recommend this company and their crew!! Daniel Perdomo, came out gave me an estimate and from that point going forward, I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process from start to finish!! They were on time, professional, caring and very detailed with every second they were here!! Clean up was phenomenal!! "C & C Lawn Care is definitely 1st class. We called in a panic as 3 trees fell on our property. Even though it was an unforeseen circumstance they did exactly what they said they would do. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.

It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting. 

On the other hand, mature trees produce fruit faster and provide more shade and privacy immediately. Ideally, a small or medium tree is the better choice if you can wait a few years for it to mature. But if you need immediate maturity, a larger tree is the only option.

There are a few instances in which removing a tree is the best option. You might do this if the tree looks to be a major danger—potentially falling onto your home, your car, or other parts of your property—or it’s diseased beyond repair. A tree that is growing too close to your house might need to be removed to prevent mold growth.

We don’t recommend DIY tree trimming for a few different reasons. First, the tools required to trim a tree can be costly, up to $1,100 or more, for the ladders and specialized saws needed. 

Safety is another concern, especially when working with more mature trees. As a guideline, you should only DIY tree trimming when branches are less than two inches in diameter. Any more, and the safety risk becomes too high, which could lead to catastrophe. For this job, it’s safest to let a tree-trimming professional assess the work needed.
