"The tree removers did a great job. They also removed trees in the property line and did not damage the neighbors lawn. They grinned tree stumps and hauled all away. The clean up was outstanding. Lawn looked better than when they arrived! The pricing was not the cheapest, but nowhere near the highest. Marco provided great customer service and was professional."

"Rico responded immediately about my tree removal. He came over the same day to quote the project and we scheduled the removal for the Monday Morning. Due to weather and a previous project running longer than expected, his crew wasn't able to get to the job until the following afternoon. The crew worked quickly and efficiently to remove the huge dead tree. Their cleanup was excellent and aside from a few track marks in the yard from the bobcat and removing the massive sections of tree, everything was intact. They moved flower pots & low hanging yard lights out of the way, so nothing was disturbed.. The put the tree near the road and it was picked up the following day. A piece of branch fell and broke one of the pickets on my fence and Rico came out within an hour of his crew leaving to replace it. I would definitely recommend Rico & his crew for tree removal projects! The only mild complaint is that I reached out to find out that he was coming a day late, instead of him contacting me."

Tree Service FAQs, answered by experts

On average, tree removal costs around $750, with a typical range between $200 and $2,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the tree's height, trunk diameter, species, and overall health. Accessibility is also a key factor; costs will be higher if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or located near structures like power lines or your home. Additional costs may apply for services such as stump removal (which can add $100 to $150), log-splitting, debris cleanup, and obtaining necessary permits. It is also customary to tip the professional, usually between $20 and $100.

The speed of your tree root removal process depends on a few different factors, including the size and type of tree. However, the fastest method of killing tree roots is applying chemical herbicide, which starts working quickly and efficiently. But this removal method has its drawbacks, such as having a negative effect on the surrounding vegetation and landscaping. Other options like rock salt and stump grinding work relatively quickly and cause less damage to your yard.

Debris removal is often included in the overall cost of having a tree removed from your property. However, tree maintenance service companies do not always include debris removal in their pricing, so ask any contractors offering tree trimming cost estimates whether or not removal is included. If you want to keep the wood mulch, ask if they charge extra for it as well.

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.

Yes, you can prune a palm tree with a chainsaw, but a chainsaw is overkill for a job like this. You risk damaging the tree if you make a bad cut. More commonly, you’ll need pruning shears or a serrated knife to trim a palm tree, or you can use a specialized pruning saw instead of a chainsaw.
