"The 2 people who actually showed up were professional, although they arrived very late, which I attribute to three poor management. I was quoted 3 guys for 8 hours, and only 2 showed up. They attempted to overcharge me the original quote. Long story short, Tower contracted a local company and did a poor job of handing over the job."

"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

"Excellent service and care in handling all our furnishings. Two man crew worked tirelessly during extreme southern heat to complete our unpacking of 26ft. truck. Also retrieved a smaller load from local storage unit as part of overall job. I was so impressed, I hired the company 2 weeks later for a supplemental moving job with another load brought from out of state. I would highly recommend them. No billing or payment issues."

"A year ago Tim Arbisi tuned our piano, I wrote a review then dated May 16, 2018. Tim scheduled the next annual tune-up a year hence, and right on time he showed up. From my experience contractors who work in your home don't do that, so conclude that his promise is his bond which significantly differentiates him from others who work in your home. I'm not going to repeat my observations of his chattiness, his professionalism, and just overall being an interesting person in this review as I've already done that. So here are some new tidbits that might help you decide on using his company. He has been selected by those at The Bell, The Imperial, The Miller, James Brown Theater as the go-to guy for tuning the pianos used by acts coming to those venues. Think Bob Dillon, Judy Collins, etc. Tim proudly stated he has picked up 2 more states and has over 1,000 clients. You might think with doing a piano tuning for Bob Dillon or a fancy Steinway Grand for somebody on The Hill in Augusta GA, that he would be less than enthusiastic about tuning your Baldwin upright (that's our piano). Nothing could be further from the truth. Tim conveys that you are the most important client on his plate when he is in your home. That is a rare behavior. I look forward to a year hence for our 3rd annual tuning. His price went up $10.00 from 2018, but I consider the investment well spent."
