Dakota came out and found the problem. He recommended what was needed and gave me an estimate. He was very professional. Later I spoke with Lane the service manager to ask a few questions. He was extremely helpful and also very professional. So, I will say that my first experience with Dayco was a very positive one. I would recommend anyone to give them a call."

"The technician was on time and courteous.  My A/C wasn't blowing any cold air, so he checked the air handler first, then checked the heat pump.  The freon was very low, 1.5 pounds in a 3.5 pound system, so he charged the unit with freon.  The air was fine after that.  He did a check for leaks from the evaporator coil "on the house" and showed me that the coil was losing coolant from several spots.  He recommended that an engineer come have a look about a system replacement since it was impossible to tell how long the coolant was leaking - the main issue being that the coil had several leaking spots.
Overall the service went well.  The price was a function of the high price of freon ($90 or so per pound), so it could have been any HVAC company getting dinged on the price issue.
