We offer services that encompass your entire home.No job is too small, depending on distance and the scope of the work to be done. We take pride in doing quality work in a timely fashion. Our goal is to save the consumer as much money as possible, without compromising our ethics or crafstmanship. Ron has over 25 years of experience, and is directly involved in every project, no matter the size. References are available on request. For protection of both parties, once a quote is recieved by consumer, they have 30 days to initiate their project; this is neccessary due to the fact that material costs fluctuate rapidly. Upon agreement, there will be a payment due for an amount agreed upon by both parties determined by the amount of materials needed to begin project. We will never be ahead of you on monies dispursed. That is, we will only recieve monies neccessary to keep the work flowing. There are many variables in payment/scheduleing, which we will work out in order to not overburden the consumer, as well as our workers, and to reach our end-date on time. Payment types are flexable i.e. cash, credit, or check. this will be determined upon contract signing. Commonly, there is an initial payment due the week prior to the day of project start date. This payment will be determined by the amount of materials, and any incidentals needed. Materials for smaller jobs are sometimes covered by us, and included in the cost of project upon completion. Jobs that take one day or less, should be paid in full upon completion of work. In the event that "unseen" repairs or damages occur, the consumer will be responsible for any materials needed. Many times, depending on the circumstances and the amount of work needed, the consumer may not be charged any additional labor costs. We are not out to make large amounts of money on any one job. Our aim is to have the consumer use our services repeatedly. And, pass our name along to others. We also offer discounted prices on installations of handicap accessability aids, i.e. hand rails, ramps, etc.

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Properly maintained roof decking can last between 20 and 30 years on average, though it varies based on a few factors. Mainly, the quality of roof decking materials and environmental conditions have the most impact on longevity. You can extend its lifespan by regularly inspecting your roof and making repairs as necessary.

Wood shake roofs are durable, energy-efficient, and offer a natural aesthetic. Composite options provide similar looks with less maintenance.

You should plan on replacing architectural shingles every 20 to 25 years in most cases, although you could see up to around 30 years of useful life. Replacing your roof before it reaches the end of its life is a good idea because it reduces the risk of roof failure and roof leaks, which can contribute to extensive property damage and hefty repair costs. Your shingles’ life span can be shorter if you live in an area that sees a lot of extreme weather, so plan on getting a roof inspection done every few years to identify the best timeline for replacement.

Yes, clay and concrete tile roofs will keep your home cooler in the summer for two reasons. First, the material has low heat conductivity, so heat transfer from the sunlight and the outside air to your home will be very slow. Additionally, tile roofs have air gaps between the tiles and the roof decking, which helps further insulate your structure from heat gain. Light-colored tile is especially energy-efficient and will minimize how much outside heat transfers into your home.

A chimney that leaks in heavy rain is not functioning properly. This may be due to damage accrued over time from exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions, which can cause cracks to form in the chimney crown and ultimately allow moisture to seep in from above. It could also be due to a faulty or missing chimney cap.
