"We used Phoenix for an unfortunate rat infestation in the attic. Scott came out initially to ***** the situation and gave us some options. Everyone we came in contact with was very professional and courteous. Our tech Sullivan went above and beyond to mitigate our situation and make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this company for insect and rodent control."

"They fit me right in. New what the problem was. Great follow up. The gentleman I spoke with was very personable and friendly. Them gentleman who came out was very friendly. When I showed him what the issue was he identified it right away new what to do. He was very knowledgeable about chemical and non chemicals. They use the non chemicals the stuff that's safe around pets an children. No bad smell didn't bother either of my dogs. They sprayed inside and out. Yes I will use them again. Two thumbs up."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Raccoons should be removed in most cases, especially when they’ve made their way indoors. Even if they seem harmless, raccoons are wild animals that can damage your property and potentially harm you, your family, and your pets. As soon as you notice signs of raccoons on your property, address the situation by securing your garbage and consulting a pro.

Any food that’s left out can potentially attract mice, but they especially like grains such as rice. Mice will also go after fruit, fatty foods like bacon, pasta, and cereal. Mice can also be attracted to garbage and compost bins if they’re left uncovered. The best way to prevent mice from getting to these areas is to keep food in hard-sided containers and cover garbage bins.

Silverfish can infest a bed, but it’s not likely unless you have a major infestation. Silverfish may be attracted to the fabric of the bed and the dark corners of the mattress, so you should check your bed thoroughly if you are seeing silverfish throughout the house. Seeing them in bed is a bad sign, because it means they are eating your cotton or silk sheets while they’re there.

If you’re dealing with a bee colony on your property, you might wonder if they’ll leave naturally over time. The answer depends on their circumstances. Bees often relocate if the hive becomes overcrowded, food is scarce, or they face a threat. With that said, if a hive’s location is safe, warm, and with plentiful food sources, they are unlikely to relocate on their own, and the hive may persist for many generations.

Whether rain affects a professional mosquito treatment depends on the treatment type, the quantity and intensity of rain involved, and how soon after the treatment it rains. Larvicides, for example, are often applied to water sources where mosquitoes lay their eggs, so it won’t matter if it rains. Some barrier sprays need sufficient time before the next rainfall to penetrate the surfaces properly and do their work.
