"This is the 7th Pool Service company I've used over the past 5 years and the first that I would unconditionally recommend.
Pete is the first time I've used Angie's list and has made me a believer.  He took over a mess and now I have a pool that looks like it did the day it was built.

"Company is a pool saver. Gabriel does great work. He let me know recently that leak repairs done in May have not completely solved my issues. His attentive communications have saved me countless dollars and help alleviate worries. A definite reccomend!"

"From the initial phone call to the office to the completion of the installation of my new heat pump, Ten Plus Service, was courteous, knowledgeable ( I couldn't get over how much Judy, the office manager knew - more than many repair people who have come to my home previously) and efficient.  Not only did they not waste my time, but more importantly they didn't waste my money.
They could have easily pushed for the repairs, so that it was done with them.  Instead they advised me what the best course to take would be, and they had no guarantees I would purchase the heat pump from them.

While they were on site, they also noticed my Navigator wasn't working correctly, and told me what the problem probably was, but as their rates were higher than many of the local pool stores, it would make more sense for me to take the cleaner locally for repairs, instead of paying them to fix it.

I did learn an important lesson from them -- in the future when I am going to buy an appliance or an automobile, I am going to ask the service department which units/cars they have performed the most repairs performed on, so I can be aware of potential future problems BEFORE I make the purchase.  The sales department or the local store is not who is going to be honest about failures (if they in fact are aware of them), they just want the sale/comission.  I had actually never realized this before how valuable the service techs are -- thanks Paul and Dexter of Ten Plus Service.

"We had an old solar panel on the roof (installed by a previous owner for the hot water heater and disconnected who knows when). The roof began to leak around on the solar panel "legs". They removed the panel, sealed up the areas and took away the monstrosity. They were perfection!!!!"

"The crew foreman explained the process from start to finish. He did warn us that the grinding would make  a lot of dust, but the crew was very diligent in cleaning up after each day's work. They showed up everyday and put in a full days work. The plumbing job was very neat. The tile work and travertine looks great. Best of all the pool looks like a million bucks.

"I contacted the company and a date was quickly set up for an onsite quote. The gentleman that came was very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. I did not use this company for the service required because their quote was the highest of all bids I received."

"I use this company for my home heat and air conditioning maintenance, and they do heat and air conditioning in my business. They do everything they can to make sure my specific needs are met. They do a great job, and they give me good suggestions that help me keep up the system. They even installed an ultraviolet system to help kill germs in the air which is important for my business. They are very thorough and that's why I've been using them for two years now!"

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.
