"Amazing company to work with!! I had Tampa Hardscapes come out to give me a quote on doing my driveway, back patio pavers, and design retaining wall for my landscaping. The owner came out personally and walked the property with me and really took the time to find out what I was imagining and what was important to me. They were very reasonable on price and super expedient on timeline. They also had the jobsite extremely tidy and clean, which is very important to me. (I have two small kids and my wife was very very pregnant at the time, it was supper important to me to not be living in a construction zone for an extended period of time) They added some designs and boarders to my idea that I would have never thought of, and it came out great! I get compliments from all the neighbors. The Owner Matt even stopped by 2 months later just to check on how everything was holding up, that the finishing sand was taken correctly, and to make sure that the quality of work was correctly. You just don't get this level of professionalism and pride that should come with every craft and craftsman these days, but this company still has that old school integrity. I usually am not one to write reviews, but I have to say, I was so impressed that I was compelled to do it this time. If there was an option to give 10 starts I would! "We highly recommend James Peck Landscaping. He did a total landscaping of our large front and back yard that had both been reduced to dirt and weeds after a year-long construction. We got bids from several companies including a couple of the big outfits. James Peck's designs were by far the most detailed and thoughtful, taking into account of exactly what we were looking for and how we would actually be using specific the spaces. He was not the cheapest bid, but he was giving us so much more than anyone else and worked with us to get down to within our budget (such as using smaller plants). In the end, we think we got far better value than if we had gone with the low bid. After signing the contract Mr. Peck stayed in regular contact throughout the design process and then supervised every aspect of the installation personally. Because he owns his own nursery and grows most of the plants he installs, he was able to make changeouts up to and even during installation. His crew was professional and everyone had clearly worked for him for long enough that they knew what he expected. The outcome was not just stunning, it was transformative. James Peck is an old school craftsman in the best sense of that term."

The only thing I donâ t like is it takes a long time to get an appointment. I understand why they are busy but I am picky about my yard and if something major happens, it can be a week before they can get to me. I finally joined their service plan for the year which has worked out well."
