"Outstanding. I noticed the other day that my front porch light had dropped out of the recessed receptacle and was hanging by its wires. I quickly contacted several electricians from Angie's list and only heard back from two of them. Both were pleasant and helpful. One could not get to me for about 7-9 days. The other (Phaze Electric) had me on their schedule the next day. Jerome showed up early and quickly assessed what was needed. He obtained the necessary part from Lowe's and was back in a flash to remove the old housing and install the new one. I also used Phaze Electric a couple of years ago to hang ceiling fans on my back porch and they did an excellent job then, too. Phaze Electric will be the company I call in the future for all my electrical needs. I trust them to do a great job at a reasonable price."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Requested installation of new circuit breaker for new equipment. Arrow Electric was able to come out within a few days of the request to provide a quote. Joe from Arrow Electric was very prompt to arrive the quote and he provided in depth explanation of materials and work to be completed for the installation. The cost was competitive with other electricians, but we went with Arrow Electric due to the time spent inspecting the areas for installation and time spent explaining the project. Day of project, again arrived promptly and went straight to work. His team worked well around the installation of the equipment team and completed all required work efficiently and professionally. Arrow Electric will be our go-to for electrical needs in the future. Thanks for the great work!!"

Small jobs welcome

"Deltron Electric replaced our outside electric meter box and main breaker. We got a call 1/2 hour before they were scheduled to come saying they wouldn't be coming because they had the wrong parts. Had to reschedule for 3 weeks later. When they came they had 150 Amp main breaker instead of 200 Amp. The replacement meter/main breaker box was different from the original box so the technician had to lower the box for the cable tv cables. In the process he cut about 18 inches off one of the cables and left it without a connector. He also lowered the box for the telephone cables and cut the wires so we lost home phone service. Don't know why he lowered that box as it would not interfere with new meter/main breaker box if he left it where it was. I fixed the telephone wiring and TV cable. He came back a couple of days later and replaced the 150 Amp breaker with a 200 Amp breaker. Things are as they should be now but it wasn't a pleasant experience."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

The humid, coastal climate in Titusville accelerates corrosion of electrical components, especially outdoors. Frequent lightning strikes increase the need for surge protection, while hurricane season can delay projects or require storm-resistant upgrades. Heavy rainfall and flood risks mean weatherproof enclosures and enhanced grounding are essential. Planning for these local conditions helps ensure your electrical work remains safe and reliable year-round.

Helpful?

Completing electrical projects in Titusville offers immediate safety improvements, more reliable air conditioning, and potential insurance savings. Over time, you’ll benefit from a higher home value, lower energy bills, and better hurricane readiness. Modern electrical systems also make it easier to add solar panels or EV chargers, and reduce the risk of costly repairs—making your home more appealing in the local real estate market.

Helpful?

Before starting electrical work in Titusville, secure all required permits and review local building codes. Have a licensed electrician inspect for aluminum wiring, outdated panels, or moisture issues. Coordinate with utility providers for service needs and marking underground lines. Choose a contractor familiar with local climate challenges, plan around hurricane season, and allow extra time for weather or permit delays to keep your project on track.

Helpful?

Signs that electrical work may need to be redone in Titusville include frequent breaker trips, flickering lights when large appliances run, or outlets that feel warm or look discolored. If you notice a burning odor, outdated panels, or aluminum wiring, these are serious concerns—especially with the area’s humidity and salt air, which can speed up corrosion. GFCI outlets that won’t reset also signal deeper issues.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Titusville often encounter extra costs such as permit fees, upgrades to meet hurricane codes, and installing surge protection or improved grounding. Replacing aluminum wiring or outdated panels can add complexity. Salt air can corrode exterior components, sometimes requiring replacement of the weatherhead (the entry point for overhead power lines). Projects may also uncover moisture damage or asbestos, leading to additional remediation work.
