"Great, they did neat clean work. They picked up my new water heater & installed. They also hauled off the old water heater. They did Fast, Clean work and cleaned up after themselves. They removed my old water heater & installed my new water heater. They are my new FAVORITE PLUMBERS."

"Bruz Plumbing was FANTASTIC! Very professional, honest, punctual, and affordable. Unfortunately plumbers are someone you don't ever want to see again, but I highly recommend them. I will keep his info on hand, just in case!"

"Romain's Plumbing is the absolute best! We had a very bad leak in our 50 plus year old home that two other plumbers could not fix, pin point nor identify. He was able to troubleshoot and find exactly where the problem was, explain, figure out, fix and repair everything quickly and efficiently. He is honest, trustworthy, hard working, and most of all reliable and fair. This is the number one Plumber in South Florida!"

"I want to thank Jose, Master Plumber, and Samuel from Vleyz Maintenance Services LLC for the outstanding job they did in my bathroom. My toilet had a leak at the base, and they fixed it quickly and professionally. They replaced the wax ring and the rusted bolts connecting the toilet tank to the bowl, making sure everything was installed properly and that there were no leaks. I was very impressed with their professionalism, fast service, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Their pricing was fair, and throughout the entire job they were friendly, honest, and took the time to answer all of my questions. It’s not easy to find contractors who combine quality workmanship, honesty, and reliability. I highly recommend Jose and Samuel at Vleyz Maintenance Services LLC to anyone looking for a trustworthy plumber. I will definitely call them again for any future plumbing work. Thank you both for the excellent service!"

Small jobs welcome

"I had a great experience working with Henry and Andre at IHM Plumbing. After searching everywhere for the best installation price for installing an electric water heater in my house it was a relief to talk to IHM. Not only did they pick up my water heater, Andre arrived and walked me through what he was doing. They are friendly, professional and polite and I will be hiring them for my future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

No, you don’t need to use plumber’s putty to install a sink drain. Other options are available, such as silicone putty or silicone caulk. Plumber’s putty is the traditional method and it’s easier to work with and easier to remove. It doesn’t need to dry before using. Silicone putty should dry before you use the drain.

Anything you drop down your sink runs the risk of damaging and clogging your pipes. Hair, bits of food, and other debris can catch on the item and build up over time, causing a clog. Even if it’s not valuable, it’s definitely worth trying to retrieve the item, or at the very least, asking a pro for specific advice.

If you find moisture under your sink, you can clean up the worst of it with paper towels or regular towels. Then, leave the cabinet doors open to allow air circulation. You can also place a fan or dehumidifier near the cabinet to help dry it out a little quicker.

No, the pink ring in your toilet bowl isn’t a hard water stain but a type of bacteria called Serratia marcescens. This bacteria can also cause pinkish stains in other areas of your bathroom, like around your tub, shower curtains, and faucets. Thankfully, it’s considered to be harmless. However, if you or anyone in your household is immunocompromised, it can cause issues like urinary tract infections. You can clean the pink ring with bleach and a plastic brush. Wear gloves and goggles when using bleach, and always work in a well-ventilated room.

The general rule of thumb is that you should clean your pipes every 18 to 22 months, although the process for cleaning depends on the severity of the issue and what type of pipes you have.

That being said, regular maintenance on your pipes can help prevent the need for a full-on replacement and help extend the lifetime of your pipes by quite a bit.
