"I was dealing with a toilet leak and water damage around the base, but couldn?t figure out where the leak was coming from. They traced it back to a bad wax ring and a loose supply line. The toilet had to be pulled, the ring replaced, and everything reset and sealed properly. They also checked the surrounding pipes to make sure there were no other issues. The work was done cleanly and professionally, and they took the time to explain what was going on. Everything has been solid since. I would hire them again."

The toilet flange anchors to the subfloor, usually with wood screws or cement screws, but most of it should sit above floor level at full height. When a flange is flush with the subfloor or below it, it can lead to the creation of leak paths.

The first step to clearing the air in a line is to locate the cause. This is usually a blockage in either the drain or the venting system. Once you clear the issue, flush the system by actually flushing the toilets repeatedly. This should allow the trapped air to escape, thus clearing the lines.
