"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend AAA O.A.S. Plumbing! From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and honest. They showed up on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and completed the repair with quality workmanship. It’s clear they take pride in their work and truly care about their customers. Their team is courteous, knowledgeable, and veteran-owned — which says a lot about their integrity and dedication. Whether it’s plumbing repairs, remodeling, or water heater installation, this is the company you can trust to get the job done right the first time. — Ruamen De La Rua"

"This company is extremely organized and workers arrive at 7 A.M. each morning for latest updates and reinforcement on their work procedures. They call before arriving and trucks are fully packed with almost any tools possibly needed. They are ready to start work!!!!! Everything is clean when they leave and all trash from the job is removed. All of my work was completed by Zach who is industrious, excellent at analyzing the situation and quickly finished. He had to get into many awkward positions to complete under-sink replacement of valves and also to create a by-pass for the outdoor spigot. He is totally focused on his mission! The manager is excellent at orchestrating this operation!"

"I called Pasco Pump, (found them here), after calling another plumbing outfit I had found on Google.  I had no hot water in the tub/shower in a rental unit that had just been rented, but no amount of money would get that first company out here that afternoon.  I realized it was late in the day, (4PM), but ... come on!
That's when I remembered I'd joined Angie's List when we first moved to this area a few weeks back.   I found Pasco Pump and gave them a call.  Sue, (the owner's wife), answers the phone there, and I explained my circumstance and what I needed.  Her husband, (and owner of the company), Bill was here an hour or so later.
Unlike many, Bill was willing to do the part of the job I needed done, and leave the rest to me to finish.  He even cut his normal service call in HALF because his part of the job took so little time.  I didn't ask him to do that ... he just did it.  He was more interested in being fair than he was in how much money he could make from every call.  How many tradesmen do you know like that these days?
On the phone, Sue was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient, and in person Bill was presentable, personable, and professional.  Not to mention a nice guy to boot.  I will definitely use Pasco Pump from now on, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.
P.S.  Something that matters to me as a veteran is that Bill is too.  A Marine, but I didn't hold that against him!  ;-)"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost to clean a sewer line is about $370, ranging from about $190 to $550 on average. The specific cleaning method and the problem's severity will impact the project's overall cost. Some of the most common sewer line cleaning methods include:

  • Snaking or rodding: $100–$250

  • Hydrojetting: $350–$600

  • Chemical treatments: $600–$1,000

  • Repair or replacement: $1,000–$7,500

If you’re wondering whether rats can come up the toilet, the unfortunate answer is yes, it’s possible, though it’s extremely rare. These rodents are excellent swimmers and can travel through sewer pipes in search of food, and they may follow plumbing lines leading to your home if they’re drawn by the scent of scraps and waste. The toilet’s U-bend holds a small pocket of air, which can help a rat catch its breath before making its final push into your bathroom. While more common in cities with larger rat populations, this can happen anywhere with connected sewer systems; sealing entry points and keeping drains clean can help reduce the risk.

In the majority of cases, homeowners insurance will not cover a main sewer line root clog. The reason is that most insurance companies consider tree root damage to sewer lines as common wear and tear, which is also preventable. However, you may be able to buy optional add-on coverage, such as "service line coverage" or "sewer line endorsements," that would protect against root damage to your sewer line.

Your home has a few telltale signs of a sewer line problem. If you notice multiple plumbing fixtures (toilet, sink, or shower drains) appear to be clogged, call a plumber ASAP. Also, if water appears in the tub or shower when you flush the toilet, you likely have a sewer line issue. A sulfur (rotten eggs) smell and bubbling or gurgling noises at the drain also warrant a check. And keep your eyes peeled for changes to the yard, such as a new indentation or mysteriously soggy grass.

First, find the cleanout pipe in your yard. Unscrew the cap—you may need a wrench to do so. Then, get a drain snake. You can use a non-motorized one, but a motorized snake will make the job a little easier. Feed the snake through the pipe until it reaches the clog. Spin the snake continuously, but don’t try to feed it through the pipe anymore. Keep spinning until you feel it break the clog apart.
