"Brad came out and helped us with a repair to our fascia boards on our mother in law suite. He and his team also installed much needed soffits. Brad was extremely professional, friendly, and got the project done with a close attention to detail in a very timely manner. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We would absolutely recommend reaching out to Warner for any installation or repair needs!"

"Raymond and Hannah responded quickly and professionally to my initial request through Home Advisor. It was evident during our first meeting that they are pros with a lot of experience, along with genuine care for their customers. They gave good, detailed estimates and really attended to our specific requests. We had a varied list of work ( drywall reconstruction, damaged floor removal & repair, roof repair, bathroom fixture installation, stucco repair, general painting and caulking.) They were through and were able to correct other problems that had been missed by previous hires. Their communication was fantastic! I live in another state and was overseeing this long work list for my mom who lives in Florida. I met Raymond and Hannah personally at the beginning of the projects and was confident that they would take care of my mom's property and relieve her stress due to some previous poor workmanship by other contractors. They were quick to call, text and e-mail details and send pictures of their work to help me know the details of all of the projects when I had to travel back to my out of state home. They were patient and respectful of my elderly mom and her needs. We added extra work requests to the list after we observed the excellent workmanship. My mom has another list that she is developing for them in the near future because of the excellent working relationship that they built. They demonstrated honesty, quality workmanship and great communication. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend Raymond and Hannah and Faith Works Home Renovations! "Brian first repaired a wall in my house that had water damage, then he did a few other jobs such as 2 closet installations, tv installation, pressure washing and a couple of other repair jobs around my house. He seemed extremely skilled and hardworking. He was very personable and courteous, and he’s a Christian, too! He did a great job, I’m very pleased with his work. I highly recommend Totka Construction for carpentry & construction work."

Customers say: True professional

"Let me start by saying I rarely have success with handymen. This wonderful gentleman came to my home. Installed a tv, moved heavy items, and assembled furniture. Cole was ONE out of many! Focused, organized, presentable. I was thrilled that he actually showed up! Will be referring to my close relatives for all their needs. Thank you again sir! Cole you are a wonderful human being and a promising contractor. p.s. he cleaned up after himself with glee"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

You can’t gauge the lifetime of a fire door like you could, say, an engine. Fire doors should be checked at least once every six months to ensure there are no signs of degradation like leaks, holes, water damage, termite damage, or anything else that might compromise the functionality of the door’s fire resistance. Check your smoke detectors while you’re at it.

Once your ashes have fully cooled, you can place them in a heavy-duty trash bag and put them into the bin with your normal trash. If you have wood ash, you can add the ash to your composting pile or sprinkle it over your grass or plants directly for added nutrients.

According to the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), the leading cause of house fires is cooking accidents, followed by fires started by heating equipment. Electrical issues are the third most common cause of house fires. The best way to keep your home protected is to use caution when cooking and never leave a stove or oven unattended while in use. You can also keep up with chimney cleaning and avoid using space heaters to reduce the risk.

Poorly designed and incorrectly installed outlets can create an electrical fire hazard, as do some phone chargers and adapters that plug into these outlets. However, most outlets are perfectly safe as long as they remain in working condition. Keep an eye on what you are plugging into the outlet and stay alert for signs of outlet malfunction, like sparks, burning smell, or frequent circuit tripping.

You don’t have to put smoke detectors in every room. At a minimum, though, there should be one on every level of your home, one in every bedroom, and one in the hallways outside the bedrooms. If you have a floor without bedrooms, place a smoke detector in the living room or next to any stairs that lead to an upper level. Attics and basements should also have at least one smoke alarm.
