"Brad came out and helped us with a repair to our fascia boards on our mother in law suite. He and his team also installed much needed soffits. Brad was extremely professional, friendly, and got the project done with a close attention to detail in a very timely manner. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We would absolutely recommend reaching out to Warner for any installation or repair needs!"

"Cesar responded to my request for an estimate quickly and made an appointment to view the job so that I could get an accurate estimate. He was friendly and personable and offered his services with an estimate that was more than fair. We scheduled a time for the job a few days later, and he showed up right on time and began work immediately. He was very neat and his workmanship was meticulous. He cleaned everything up, and presented a finished product that was simply beautiful! I am delighted with his work and feel he gave me a great price for the work he did which was a kitchen backsplash. When I add some more tile work I will certainly have Julio do the job. He does great work for a great price and knows his business. I would include him in any future plans for remodeling and/or repair."

Small jobs welcome

"He did a great job replacing our chimney Faade. He showed up when he said he would and even when back to the lumber store when we found some extra things that needed fixing. He only charged us for the material and not any extra labor. He was very nice to deal with."

Small jobs welcome

"He has been installing floors for quite a few years. I asked him several questions about flooring, maintenance of, why my current tile looks like it does, why the newly installed looks different, how long to dry, how long to walk on. He had explanations and answers for all my questions. He showed up for work every day. That is huge compared to some contractors felt with. Doug was very refreshing to work with. Did what was scheduled to be done. Cleaned up. Just great guy."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Penny tile should be sealed to protect the grout from moisture and keep stains from damaging the look of the tile. If penny tile is in a humid or high-traffic area, like a bathroom, kitchen, or entryway, it needs sealant. Any type of tile and grout is best maintained with a sealant reapplied by a pro every one to two years.

Yes, you can install a backsplash directly onto drywall, provided the wall is properly prepped, clean, and dry. For best results, especially in kitchen areas, your walls should be made of moisture-resistant drywall, often called green board. If your current wall isn't moisture-resistant, it's recommended to replace it before installing the backsplash. For even greater protection against water damage, you can remove the existing drywall and install a tile backer board or cement board instead. While properly installed standard drywall is typically strong enough to support a backsplash, some local building codes may require water-resistant materials in kitchen areas, so it's a good idea to check.

There are several different products that allow underwater repair. Pool putty can help repair chips, cracks, and loose tiles without draining your pool, but it should only be used for a temporary fix. Certain two-part epoxy adhesives will cure underwater, too. That said, while it is technically possible to fix pool tiles underwater, it is usually not ideal, depending on the depth of your pool. You will still have to reach the tile, which means you might have to dive and make the repair while submerged.

Tiling can be DIY with the right tools and skills, but challenges like ensuring evenness and appropriate adhesion often warrant professional handling.

The best types of tiles for a shower are ceramic and porcelain tiles. These materials are durable, water-resistant, and easy to maintain, making them ideal for wet environments. Porcelain tiles are slightly more durable than ceramic. Both options come in a wide variety of styles, so you can achieve the perfect look for your bathroom.
