Terrible Tile Job - Avoid This Contractor! I am writing this review with extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the tile work recently completed by RN Constructors. He was hired to do three bathroom floors and a laundry room floor. While they technically " finished" the job, the quality of the work is so abysmal that I feel compelled to warn others to steer clear. From start to finish, this was a nightmare. The final result is riddled with amateur mistakes and a complete lack of attention to detail. Here are just some of the glaring issues I'm now stuck with: Inconsistent Grout Lines: The grout lines throughout the entire floor are a chaotic mess. Some are wide, some are narrow, and there's absolutely no sense of uniformity. It looks incredibly unprofessional and cheap. Misaligned Tiles: My eyes are constantly drawn to the tiles that are clearly not lined up correctly. There are noticeable shifts and angles that make the entire floor look crooked and haphazard. Wrong Placement of Decorative Tiles: I specifically discussed the placement of the decorative tiles, and they managed to get it completely wrong. They are in the wrong spots and disrupt the intended design. It's as if they didn't even look at the plans. Unable to Align Tiles to the Walls: The edges where the tiles meet the walls are an absolute disaster. There are gaps and uneven cuts, showing a complete inability to measure and align the tiles properly. Visible Thinset: In numerous places, you can clearly see the thinset on the edge of the tile. They made no effort to clean this up, leaving a messy and unprofessional finish. Poor Cutting and Joints for Trimwork: The cuts around obstacles and the joints for the trim work are atrocious. They are jagged and uneven, and don't fit together properly, leaving unsightly gaps and edges. Grout Cracking: Barely after the job was "completed," I already noticed cracks appearing in the grout lines. This suggests poor workmanship or the use of inferior materials. Did Not Clean Up After Their Work: To top it all off, this contractor left my property a complete mess. There was tile dust, grout residue, and thinset splatters all over the floor and even up the walls. Left Grout/Thinset on the Walls: As mentioned above, they didn't even bother to clean the walls, leaving hardened grout and thinset stains that I now have to deal with myself. Overall, the quality of this tile job is unacceptable. At times he would rush through the work and he had a complete lack of attention to detail for a supposed professional. It looks like a DIY project gone horribly wrong, not the work of a supposed professional. I am incredibly disappointed with the outcome and now face the costly and time-consuming task of trying to rectify these numerous errors. I strongly advise anyone considering hiring RN Constructors to look elsewhere. You will save yourself the headache, frustration, and expense of having to fix their shoddy work. This was a truly terrible experience, and I regret hiring them. *I have the photos that back up my review.

We got numerous quotes on a very nice sized exterior “Glacier Paver Patio” and the RN Contractors were not only the lowest price, but the explanation of the Paver installation was far beyond how the other subcontractors were going to perform the actual work. The owner, Jose, went beyond the call of duty to help us through an unfavorable situation and even in a difficult scenario was helpful and wanted to make sure we (the customers) were good with the agreed upon resolve and did a fantastic job for us. They did an amazing job on my backyard! They did everything I asked for, good price and very attentive. I am in love, want to stay there the whole day.

The company was very quick to get the job booked, which I appreciated because I was eager to get pavers installed. They started when they said they would. They finished in one day, like they said they would. That is about all I can say that is good. The layout was not what we discussed before the project started. They dumped a ton of excavated dirt in the trees behind my house, visible from the house. It is piles of dirt. There are dozens of broken pavers installed, including cracks and broken corners. Dozens. They left mounds of paver base, the dirt that they bring in to put under the pavers, along the entire perimeter of the pavers. I asked them to remove it as it is FULL of rocks and all they did was spread it out. So now I have rocks everywhere. They said the grass will grow through it is. Grass does not grow through rocks. I asked them to come fix the mistakes. They said they are too busy and can not come out. I told them I would be writing this review unless they came to fix what is wrong. They hung up on me after telling me to do whatever I wanted to. So, here I am writing a review looking out at mounds of dirt in my tree line with broken pavers in a configuration that I do not want and grass that will not grow.

Unbelievable team. After agreeing to a great price, 10 days later I have a 600 sq ft patio. They laid it in one day. Definitely recommend.
