"We actually had them come by and give us a quote but we didn't use them because there quote was a little high. They did not actually get to us really quick, there was kind of a delay but they did keep me updated. I did not have any issues with them."

Small jobs welcome

"Need to lay new concrete slabs for shed and extend another existing patio concrete slab and make both old and new slabs look uniformed. Pedro came out quickly and got started right away. He was detailed in his quote and provided good information. Was really nice guy, easy to talk to. It took a little over a week due to rain delays but he delivered as promised and did the job without any issues. I’d recommend him to others."

Concrete Resurfacing questions, answered by experts

Like all concrete, pervious concrete is susceptible to cracking due to expansion and contraction from freezing and thawing or heavy weight. Pervious concrete, however, is less likely to crack due to moisture intrusion than traditional concrete since pervious concrete is designed to drain and hold water in the material’s voids.

Concrete resurfacing and concrete overlay are terms often used interchangeably to describe the process of applying a new, thin layer of pre-blended concrete over an existing slab. This process enhances the durability and appearance of the concrete, giving it a fresh look without the high cost of a full replacement. The new layer is typically between 1/4-inch and 1-inch thick, significantly less than the 4 inches required for a new slab, and can be stamped, colored, or textured for a custom finish.

While the terms are often considered the same, their meaning can sometimes vary by contractor. Some may use "overlay" to describe a thicker application that adds structural integrity, while "resurfacing" might refer to a thinner layer intended for cosmetic upgrades. Other common names for this process include concrete restoration, concrete refinishing, and concrete rejuvenation.

DIY repair is possible for minor cracks or small areas, often through patching. For a durable, properly leveled, and seamless finish, professional repair or resurfacing is recommended.

To determine the cost of your repair, calculate the square footage of the job and determine the extent of the damage to decide the best route for your project. Then, decide if you will be using standard concrete or an upgraded design. Obtain multiple quotes from reputable contractors to compare sidewalk repair cost estimates.

Most projects take 1-3 days, though curing times may require additional downtime.
