"Shane and Bob showed up earlier than anticipated and worked efficiently to complete the job before the afternoon was over. They found unanticipated problems hidden by the failing fascia itself. They took this in stride and still stayed on schedule. The work they did was outstanding and they were very cordial while doing the repairs. They cleaned up and took away all the debris as well. Could not ask for a better experience. Would be happy to have them back for other work in the future."

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

A handyperson can perform a wide variety of home improvement and repair projects. Common jobs include painting, cleaning gutters, assembling new furniture, and replacing fixtures like cabinets or lights. They can also handle more complex tasks such as installing a dishwasher, fixing minor plumbing leaks, refinishing wood floors, and replacing doors. Generally, a handyperson is ideal for any project that does not require a specific license or certification, such as those related to major plumbing, electrical, or structural work, which should be handled by a licensed tradesperson.

Yes, handymen can offer quick responses to urgent issues like leaks or electrical problems.

There are a few advantages to hiring a handyperson as a contractor, namely that they will likely charge less for their services since they don’t have as much overhead. A handyperson might also have more flexibility and be more involved in your specific home project, so you can communicate with one person instead of a subcontractor team.

Absolutely, they tailor their approach to address individual requirements, ensuring satisfaction on every visit.

While a handyperson will do the odd small job for your home, a maintenance person is responsible for conducting regular inspections and repairs. Maintenance people may come in to do small fixes and diagnose any issues you might be facing, but may not have all the same technical abilities as a handyperson.
