"My refrigerator had a leak and became warm. Mark appliance and refrigerator sent someone out to fix it. He fixed it he said, and filled the freon (?). Unfortunately, he did not fix the leak apparently, because after a few months the exact same thing happened. When I called, they said they wouldn't do anything because it was outside the warranty window. But if it's leaking and you do not fix the leak, obviously filling the freon is not repairing anything, only postponing the repair. So they want to come out and fix the leak this time, then get paid again for the freon. Very unethical business model. I researched, and the size of the leak determines how long the freon will last. So I suppose an experienced technician could safely estimate if they would be called back within the warranty period. This seems to be verified by the fact that they won't even check to see if it is the same repair as before. As I said, incredibly unethical."

It was not the timer device I thought went bad, and I replaced it myself. I sent Pointe info on what I did and what happened. Josh went into the inside back panel of the stand up freezer and found the device that went bad after 15 years. After the 6 hour cool down, the freezer is back in service. Thank you for your time, early arrival (wife was surprised), and conversation. "
