Josh is 3 for 3! I appreciate Pointe Appliance coming out in a quick manner. A freezer / defrost device went out a few days back. It was not the timer device I thought went bad, and I replaced it myself. I sent Pointe info on what I did and what happened. Josh went into the inside back panel of the stand up freezer and found the device that went bad after 15 years. After the 6 hour cool down, the freezer is back in service. Thank you for your time, early arrival (wife was surprised), and conversation.

I had inquired with Angi for my refrigerator , and a few vendors reached out to me via phone and text, asking about scheduling a visit. However, I had not confirmed any appointments. Then, unexpectedly on June 19th around 10:15 AM, someone knocked on my door claiming I had booked an appointment. I clearly explained that while I had made inquiries, I never confirmed or scheduled any appointment. The gentleman from Point Appliances insisted that I had booked the appointment and would need to pay the fee regardless of whether the service was performed. Since I felt I had no choice, I asked him to go ahead and check the refrigerator. Today June 23rd 2025 while discussing with Angi representative ; I got a confirmation that there was no appointment booking just enquiry, Also, the over all cost point appliances provided; I didn't agree and he left just taking the $102. I will appreciate if I get my money refunded. THANKS!!

"Wednesday I can do between 9 AM and 12 PM. It's a $99 service fee but as long as you're complaining services, he won't charge that fee. His work is much appreciated. He observed a switch that I noticed but I did not know what it did. The switch is a general buzzer that signals a problem. There is a schematic diagram on the back of the freezer. Which helped him find the problem. The timer gears had died for the freezer / defrost device. He was able to temporarily turn on the freezer. The part was ordered and installed a few days later. Thanks for the help!

Our garbage disposal started leaking on Thanksgiving day. We never expected to be contacted on the holiday but they messaged us quickly. We were contacted again Friday morning and services were completed before 11:00. Prices were comparable and he even updated our out of code disposal and Josh gave us a better model with a Black Friday deal. We have used his services before installing our new refrigerator and will continue to call him back for our future needs. He is professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. We will recommend him to family and friends.

BEWARE!!! Josh is a thief and his business is an absolute scam. He has no idea how to repair anything other than minor appliance issues and finds a way to scam every customer. He will only take cash or check at the initial appointment for the entire job and then runs off with your money. These reviews are fake. Look at his other business page reviews. He does this to everyone. Took our money and stopped responding. I have him on camera saying he couldnâ t fix our issue yet had already sold our parts he removed. He promised a refund and then left and never responded. He has already been reported to the DBPR by other customers and Im also filing a claim against him. Do yourself a favor and find a licensed and insured contractor to do the work correctly.

I had an appointment scheduled with Josh because water had been standing in my dishwasher when I ran it. The afternoon before this appointment water started pouring out from underneath my kitchen sink. Not knowing how to stop the water I called Pointe Appliance and they had Josh get in touch with me. Even though it was after hours and he was an hour away he arrived in a timely manner and immediately identified the problem. The issue was actually the garbage disposal that had recently been installed incorrectly. Josh was informative, kind, and helpful even cleaning up the water on my kitchen floor. I was and am very grateful to Josh for all his help. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again or recommend him to anyone.

They are amazing! I got a phone call within the hour from when I requested a quote through Angi. Josh was here the next day, on time and was able to identify the broken piece in my ancient clothes washer within minutes. Had a new piece ordered before he left my home and I was called the next morning to set up the appointment for the repair! Less than 48hrs later my washer is fixed and he was even able to tell me what sorts of items NOT to wash in my machine to avoid needing the repair done again in the future. Great job all around and SUPER affordable!!
