"I wanted to install 2 mini-split Air Conditioners in my home. One in my garage and one in my bedroom. I interviewed a few companies and went with Rair LLC. They listen to my ideas, advised the pros and cons of my ideas and then gave me their opinions. After I advised where I wanted both A/C units installed, they came up with a designed plan to implement the custom installation. Rair LLC, showed up on time and worked non-stop until the units were installed. They showed me how to use the AC units and made sure I understood it by demonstrating what they had just showed me. They professionally cleaned up the areas of work and replaced all furniture back to their proper locations. I have been hiring a lot of contractors to do work in my house and Rair LLC, are definitely professional and outstanding compared to all other companies. The price was very reasonable. The customer service and quality of work is second to none. I highly recommend Rair LLC, for your choice of business to partner with.  "

"Well! One minor glitch, tech did not have our size air filter with him. Had to call and have them send one to us with the 6 filters for monthly change of filters! They came out that day and installed new filter, and gave us the remaining 5!"

"Chris and Lucky performed my upgrade smoothly, professionally, and courteously. The tear-down process was efficient as was the new installation. The guys worked continuously without taking breaks. When they were finished, they cleaned up so well that, had I not known they tore down one unit and installed another, I'd never had known they were there. They went over operations with me, showed me how to use vinegar and water to help keep my new drain clean, and left me feeling confident and satisfied. My new system works beautifully. No complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend Certified Climate Control for all your A/C needs."

"

Started my car on Friday morning 3/20/16 & I hear what appears to be an exhaust leak near the engine, plus felt it was running on 3 cylinders (4 cylinder engine) . Took it to David Johnson's Automotive & after doing some troubleshooting found the exhaust manifold was cracked in 2 places & the ignition coil was bad. After replacing both parts my car runs like new, & engine runs smoooooth !!! There is nothing like "the warm tummy feeling" when the job is done correctly & that's what I get when my car is repaired by David Johnson's Automotive.

"Ben Jr. and David of A.C. Goodier, Inc., 221 State Ave., Holly Hill, FL, came to our home today to install a new Tempstar Air Conditioner-Heat Pump system. It can get quite hot down here in Florida in the summer time and given that our air handler is located in the attic, Ben Jr. had asked if they could start early. At 6:40 a.m. their truck rolled up to our door...and we were ready for them. Everything went smoothly until they found that our previous drain system had gotten clogged and an auxiliary drain was needed. No problem. They got the parts, installed the new drain line quickly, and got the Air Conditioner/Heat Pump system up and running within the 4-hour time frame they had given us. Ben Jr. and David were absolutely great. In fact, we were so happy with the service they provided that we called their boss immediately to let him know. This is not the first time we worked with Ben Jr. and David. We had them service another of our previous residences a couple of years ago and knew that we wanted them to do this job as well since we were so pleased with their previous work. They were quick, professional, and went beyond the call of duty in making sure that we were completely satisfied with their work. We highly recommend A.C. Goodier, Inc. of Holly Hill, FL for any of your A/C-H/P needs. If you ask for Ben Jr. and David, you won't be disappointed! Great guys, a great company, and great service. The company's motto is: and quot;Quality Doesn't Cost, It Pays!and quot; That perfectly sums it up!

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

There are several types of home radiators, and the most common are steam heat radiators, electric radiators, and dual-fuel radiators. Steam heat radiators are connected to a boiler. Electric radiators can operate without being connected to anything else—they just need an electrical outlet. If you have a dual-fuel radiator, you’ll see a valve at the bottom of the system with a wire coming out of it and going into a wall. These are often your towel radiators in the bathroom. The type of radiator you have will impact how you turn it on.

A furnace is a big unit where gas, heating oil, or electricity heats the air. The warmed air is then pushed back out through ducts and vents.

A boiler uses electricity, heating oil, or gas to heat water that is pushed into the room through a radiator. This is one of the oldest and most effective ways to heat a house, but radiators can also be unsightly and leave hot and cold spots in the room.

Heat pumps use a refrigerant to move heat from outside into the house and return it to the room through ducts and vents.

The cost to install a steam boiler varies depending on the type, fuel used, and your house size. The average cost to install a boiler is $5,900. You could spend $2,000 for a basic electrical steam boiler or up to $9,000 for a high-efficiency oil-burning steam boiler. Boiler installation is a job that’s best left for professionals to complete, and, in some states, only licensed installers can legally complete the job.

Costs range from $3,000 to $7,500, depending on system size and efficiency.

Hydronic and standard electric baseboard heaters differ in how they operate, their cost, and their performance. Standard convection heaters use electric coils to heat the air directly, while hydronic heaters warm a contained liquid like water or oil, which then radiates heat into the room.

In terms of cost and efficiency, hydronic heaters usually have a higher upfront price but are more energy-efficient and cheaper to run over time. This is because the heated liquid retains warmth, allowing the heater to continue providing heat for a while after the thermostat turns it off. In contrast, electric heaters provide heat more quickly but are less efficient.

Ultimately, the better choice depends on your priorities. If you need a room to heat up fast and have a lower initial budget, an electric heater might be suitable. If long-term energy savings are more important and you don't mind a slower heat-up time, a hydronic heater is likely the better option.
