ASAP Garage Door Repair

When he arrived he looked at the opener, check the door and said the opener is very old and I needed a new one. He said it would cost$620. Cash. I asked when can he do it he said he can do it right now. I asked about the warranty he said 3 year s warranty. I asked if $620. Completes everything and he said everything is completely new so I told him to go ahead to do the work. After he put the opener in he said it wasn t working that the sensors are not working. So I said to him maybe it was the sensors in the first place and not the opener and he said no the opener is old I needed a new one and then he said I had to pay $200 for sensors. I told him if it s a new opener it should come complete with sensors and besides everything was included in the price so I refused to pay extra. He replaced the sensors and the garage door is working I signed the receipt and paid $620 cash. I wanted to keep the old opener he took off but he refused to let me keep it said he had to take it with him. He told me the new opener comes with the app I could use on my phone. I asked him for the manual for the opener and he said it doesn t come with manual I told him every new appliances come with manual he said I have to call the office. He never gave me the receipt either. He had an Olympus garage polo shirt on so I called Olympus and was told that they never sent anyone to my house. I called the number from the text that was sent to me and explained to them about the manual and the receipt and was told they would send me an email for the receipt and the manual but I told her I wanted the paper receipt and the manual book. About 20mins it was put into my porch along with the leaflet for the app. I downloaded the app but was having problems in connecting so I called for assistance. The guy asked me for the S/N of the opener so I gave him the S/N that is on the opener and was told that it wasn t the S/N. It was then I noticed the date on the opener is over a year ago. Also on the receipt the No Warranty sign is checked. So this opener is Not New and there is no Warranty on it. I paid for a new Opener with a3year Warranty so I want a New Opener with a 3 year Warranty. These people are scams!

ASAP engages in price gouging and manipulation, charging us $1850 for replacement of garage door springs, a job that an ethical company would charge $500-600 at the most. Repairman did not reveal outrageous cost until AFTER he took apart the door and laid all the pieces on the ground. He refused a check, wanted cash, and offered to go with me to ATM. Company name is also fishy since I called Olympus and ASAP showed up.

I called ASAP because my gate pad no longer opened my gate. They sent out some pot see what I needed snd He did ask for payment and I only had 100.00 cash on me. I paid the remainder of 1/2 the bill on credit card. Within a week they had a technician at my house on a Sunday afternoon installing the new lift master gate opener to open my gate. Quoted $245 to adjust tension in garage springs. Then said it was $245 for each spring. Finally, adjusted both springs and charged $300. Said a new opener motor would be $650. Way over priced and I should never have paid even half that much to adjust the spring tension. Sorry that I contacted them.

Techs were here on time and very pleasant. They did an amazing job. I had a brand new garage door put in with windows. Iâ m in love.

CASH ONLY. Deposit had to be paid in cash. Install company signage on truck was from different company . Installer should come prepared with invoice when company insist on cash only for completion of work. S an elderly person was not willing to hand over another $3500 in cash with no record of payment. After speaking to customer service they agreed to email receipts and mailing invoice stating paid in full for check I wrote.

Great service I was so impressed to finally deal with a company that doesnâ t scam the elderly. Explained the whole project to me from start to finish, gave my husband the military discount and helped me move everything out of the way prior to installation.
