Customers say: True professional

"Kasey and his team did a project for our condominium. They removed weeds around the pool area, installed weed barrier and filled it with Alabama rocks. Despite some hiccups during the process, Kasey went far and beyond to make sure the project was executed on the highest level. He handled everything in a professional manner. Kasey was in touch with us constantly to make sure his team met our condominium’s expectations. Highly recommend Kasey and his company for your future projects 👍😊👏"

"Sergio and his crew replaced our driveway, sidewalk and added a trash pad to the opposite side of our house. We requested several changed during the project and Sergio took care of each one without hesitation! Everything turned out great and the price was very reasonable for the job they completed!"

"I had a large area in my front yard that I treated for fungus every year with various degrees of success. I finally decided to take care of it. I called Creative and Dan came over and we discussed ways to deal with it. BTW, Dan is very personable fellow, a joy to converse with. In the end we removed the suspect grass and what was underneath it, filled it with new soil and sodded it with new St. Augustein. The crew did a nice job and I'm glad I went with Creative. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"IMPERIAL LANDSCAPING CONCEPTS was my chosen landscaping company to design and deliver an appropriate stylistic landscape redesigned to enhance the road appeal of our home. I was impressed by the level of professionalism displayed by Imperial Landscaping Concepts beginning with the face-to-face meetings with the owner, landscaping architecture designer and project manager. Imperial Landscaping Concepts discussed each phase of my project with me to ensure the ideas and inspiration were understood while establishing a realistic timeline. To my surprise, Imperial Landscaping Concepts has developed over the years a one-stop-shop, which includes a network skilled craftsman who are personally engaged in the overall success of reaching the end vision of the design. Throughout the project, Imperial Landscaping Concepts retained my trust and confidence based upon the quality work ethic demonstrated along with their attention to the details. Imperial Landscaping Concepts provided all services required to complete my project, to include; the demolition and removal of the old walkway, stone design/color for paver walkways, patio, retaining walls and flower beds, the redesign and expansion of the irrigation system, electrical work for the installation of the ground lighting, and the skillful selection of indigenous flowering plants, shrubs and trees creating the vision of an English Gardens. Imperial Landscaping Concepts has transformed my yard into a neighborhood showplace. Imperial Landscaping Concepts has proven their quality performance while remaining grounded in good business practices. I highly recommended Imperial Landscaping Concepts for residential of commercial properties seeking the array of services provided by Imperial Landscaping Concepts. Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Asphalt edging secures the sides of your driveway to prevent crumbling and cracking over time. Most driveways have edges with a 45-degree grading. This helps transfer some of the stress from the asphalt to the ground underneath. If your driveway doesn’t have proper edging, the pressure from your car may break down the edges over time.

The cost to pour a driveway apron depends on the material and size. Concrete costs $3 to $10 per square foot, asphalt ranges from $2 to $5, and pavers are $5 to $15 per square foot. Additional expenses, like excavation, base material, and labor, can increase the total cost. For example, a standard 12x15-foot concrete apron could cost between $540 and $1,800, depending on local rates and additional work required. Always consult a local driveway paving contractor to get an accurate estimate tailored to your project.

With proper maintenance, asphalt milling driveways can last 30 years or more. Over time, you’ll need to regularly sealcoat your driveway. You should also have your driveway inspected every few years and make any repairs as soon as they are necessary; this will prolong the lifespan of your driveway.

An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.

Sometimes, when people talk about asphalt driveways, they’re actually referring to asphalt concrete, which is a completely different compound. Asphalt concrete is asphaltic cement combined with sand or grit. It is significantly more lasting and durable than regular asphalt but also much more expensive. If you’re considering using asphalt concrete, ask an asphalt company for their expert opinions.
