"The move was perfect! They were able to schedule a local move for the next day. They arrived at the pickup location 15 minutes early and started planning the procedure and route out of the home. Then they expertly wrapped the entire piano, took off the legs and rolled it away. When they delivered the piano 30 minutes later, they were very careful not to hit any furniture or doorways. Very efficient. Very friendly. Extremely careful and professional. These guys are the best!"

"The movers were very knowledgeable and professional. Edwin kept us laughing, which isn't easy in the midst of a move! We had 4 movers and they didn't leave until everything was placed and assembled exactly the way we wanted. This is how moving should be!"

"Utilizing All Service Moving for the move was a very positive experience. They had good communication, answering several questions prior to the move and did a final confirmation just prior to the move date. As for the physical move itself, Jose, Abraham, and Alberto were polite, diligent, and careful moving the many items, and managed to complete the move more quickly than anticipated."

"Moving is nobody's favorite thing to do and hopefully I won't have to move for a while but if I ever move again it would be through Headway. They showed up early, the team was professional and courteous throughout, and I couldn't believe how fast they operated. I would highly suggest for anyone having to move in the future."

Moving questions, answered by experts

In Orlando, moving companies typically complete local moves for studios or one-bedroom apartments in 3-5 hours, while larger homes may take 8-12 hours. Long-distance relocation projects often require 1-3 days for delivery. Plan for extra time during tourist seasons, university move-ins, or hurricane season, and consider booking packing services in advance to avoid delays caused by high demand and unpredictable weather.

Helpful?

Moving projects in Orlando can involve unexpected expenses like fees for rescheduling due to hurricanes, charges for climate protection materials, and costs for elevator reservations or parking permits in downtown or high-rise areas. Traffic delays may increase labor time, especially during peak tourist seasons. Additional services, such as protecting electronics from humidity or securing fragile items during storms, may also be necessary for a smooth relocation.

Helpful?

Orlando’s hot, humid summers and frequent afternoon thunderstorms can complicate moving projects. Schedule moves early in the day to avoid peak heat, and use waterproof coverings to protect boxes and furniture. During hurricane season, moving companies may need to reschedule or pause services for safety. Always check the forecast and have a backup plan for weather-related disruptions to keep your relocation on track.

Helpful?

In Orlando, homeowners often overlook traffic congestion from theme parks and events, forget to reserve elevators in high-rise buildings, or neglect to check HOA restrictions on moving hours. Failing to weatherproof belongings or book moving companies early during peak seasons can lead to last-minute stress. Research local moving regulations and confirm all logistics with your relocation provider to avoid these issues.

Helpful?

When planning a move in Orlando, account for toll roads, ongoing highway construction, and heavy traffic near the airport. Some neighborhoods require advance notice for moving trucks or restrict access during certain hours, especially in gated or historic districts. Seasonal population shifts, such as university move-ins and snowbird arrivals, can impact moving company availability. Arrange utility transfers and verify your new area’s flood risk before moving day.
