"JB was a pleasure to work with. I have had the floor done many times to only be disappointed. There was a high shine on the floor that always showed dirt and it had many holes. The floor was very expensive and we were thinking of taking it out. JB was the first restoration company that did what he promised. First he recommended we get rid of the high shine and he has a special method of filling in all the holes. The floor looks incredible and was done over two weeks ago and still looks better than it has ever looked. He does what he promises. He and his work crew were polite and hardworking. Though it is never easy having your house taken over for a week, they made it as easy as possible. His recommendation to get rid of the high shine was right. Lenny with star construction was one of the handful that did. We had a few quotes that came in cheaper but they weren't honest with the scope of work that would need to be done. This is where Lenny and star construction shined. He came in and told me honestly EVERYTHING that was going to have to be done to get the project up to code. His estimate came in to the penny. He was forthright about having to change electric panel and adding driveway space to meet code. After we signed on with star, Lenny became even more of a "star". He constantly fought with the city on our behalf for the necessary permits. After a lengthy battle he obtained the necessary permits. Vega came in to head the construction aspect and was also a "star". They obtained every necessary inspection and passed each one with flying colors on the first attempt. Everything was completed on time and it was a wonderful experience. I would NOT hesitate to use Star Construction in the future."
