John completed the work himself as promised. It was a complicated job because it was a wide area of carpet in several connected rooms. The price was comparable to the other bids.

Qiuck initial contact with John. As I needed to puchase carpet as well as have it installed, we decided to meet-up at his showroom (Plantation Foors, near the Plantation/Davie border, just west of 441). I selected the quality/thickness of carpet pad and then selected the color/brand/style of carpet that I wanted. I was re-carpeting a 1Br/1 Bath condo (neutral/beige colors) for re-sale. Since k ithen, bath, front-entry/foyer areas were already tiled, I onlyneeded < 700 sq. ft. of carpet. The total price (including remove, install & tax was about $2450. Ouch!! But I was on a timeline and I needed it done right the first time. John's sub-contract installers were good. The job took about 6 hrs (incl. 1/2hr lunchbox lunch) for the installers and there were no problems.

Quick initial contact with john. He was here the same day. Scheduled appointment for the next week (as soon as we could do it). Work was done satisfactorily with his contractor.

He called immediately, came when he said he would and did a great job!

This condo Association hired Plantation flooring to install new vinyl planks in our clubhouse. The work was done in a timely manner and work very efficiently. Would definitely hire them again.

They were both timely and efficient

I had carpet installed on my steps and I am very pleased with the workmanship. They showed up on time and cleaned up before they left. The did 9 wrap steps, 2 steps and 2 landings. I would definitely recommend John and his crew!

excellent work but very expensive. I was quoted $550 to re-carpet a stairway with 6 wrap-arounds, 5 stairs, and 2 landings. Job took about 3 hours. That's $183/hr. Wish my hourly was the same. In fairness to this company, all estimates were the same or higher. Some companies advertise 5 rooms for $299. How can one standard staircase cost more than the labor to do multiple rooms? I don't get it. $183/hour seems excessive. Does it take less than 3 hours to do 5 rooms at $299 total cost?
