"They knew what they were doing for sure , had many cracks and broken concrete that had dropped and had a big area that was a void, by the time they were done the pieces were together and they filled in all the cracks and sealed them. The only thing now is it looks like puzzle pieces. So now I need to resurface or texture .it was awesome to see"

"Excellent, was on time and perfect. Brad and his team (sorry, forgot his name) were even able to lift the concrete wall and it was done perfectly. They even caulked around the entire area, cleaned it out etc. Used hydraulic lift to lift it and then put the foundation repair compound. THank you."
The homeowner's driveway had endured years of wear and tear, resulting in discoloration and numerous cracks across the surface. Additionally, the concrete slabs had become uneven due to the soil settling beneath them.
Due to soil settlement and poorly placed control joints, the customer's driveway had significant cracking. You can see that some stains have formed, indicating that the concrete lacks sealant protection.
The homeowner knew that their home's addition had experienced settlement damage when vertical cracks appeared on the exterior walls.
The homeowner became alarmed when they noticed stair-step cracking patterns emerging from the window frame in the exterior wall of the home.
Upon noticing significant cracks developing in the walls, the homeowner became concerned about their foundation's condition.

Customers say: Quality work

"Hired Florida Crete to build a 28x40 building foundation with stem wall at 12" to 36" over 40' run. Mr Diaz and his crew are probably the most hard working men I have ever hired for a project. They were all about contructing to my satisfaction. The completed project was perfectly square. Thanks again to Florida Crete for a very well done job. 5 STARS"

"The crew did a wonderful job at removing the palm tree. They filled in the hole with soil and covered with rock that matched the rest of the landscaping. In addition, I had them trim the rest of the bushes and holly tree. All of it looks great."

Masonry questions, answered by experts

In Ocala, schedule masonry work if you notice gaps wider than a quarter inch, leaning retaining walls, or flaking stone surfaces. Discoloration from water, loose pavers, or sudden shifts after heavy rain are also warning signs. The best season for projects is late fall to early spring, when humidity is lower. Address urgent issues before hurricane season to prevent further damage.

Helpful?

To prepare for marble and granite service, stock up on stone-safe mineral removers to combat hard water scale from the local aquifer. Avoid acidic bathroom cleaners, as they damage stone surfaces permanently. Keep pH-neutral mold inhibitors on hand to manage high Ocala humidity. You should also store outdoor stone sealer for your lanai, along with grout repair supplies to address minor shifts from the local karst terrain.

Helpful?

A major mistake during marble and granite service is using acidic cleaners to remove hard water scale, which etches stone surfaces permanently. Homeowners also err by skipping required permits for wet-area tile work or hiring unlicensed contractors. Another frequent error is ignoring subfloor movement before installing rigid stone on FL karst terrain. Finally, neglecting annual resealing on outdoor countertops leaves them vulnerable to intense humidity and sun damage.

Helpful?

Planning your marble and granite service requires checking local permit requirements, especially for bathroom tile work involving subfloor modifications. Always hire a state-licensed contractor. Schedule outdoor installations between October and May to avoid the intense FL summer rainy season, which disrupts adhesive curing times. Book your professionals early, as seasonal demand spikes during the winter months. Finally, assess your foundation for any uneven settling before laying new stone.

Helpful?

When planning marble and granite service, account for the local limestone terrain by using proper crack isolation membranes under floor tiles to prevent shifting. Check your homeowners association rules for exterior stone finish restrictions. If your Ocala property relies on well water, anticipate higher iron content that requires specialized maintenance. Finally, review your homeowners insurance policy to understand coverage specifics for major stone restoration or damage repairs.
