I looked on Angie's list for another merchant. I found AOK and the reviews looked good, I liked that it was a family-owned company, and the prices that people paid were in my feasible range. I made the appointment to have my softener looked at, and Kevin showed up a few minutes early. We reviewed my options, and we determined that my system, which was not new when I inherited it a few years ago, was too old to fix for a price that made sense. Replacing the entire system cost only $250 more than repairing, so I went for it. I was at work, but my roommate was home when Kevin returned to make the repair. He said the water would be out for a couple of hours, but it was less time than that. The water has been even softer than it was before ever since. Very happy with my purchase! The grade of B for price merely means that I had not intended to pay that much; it is not meant as a criticism of AOK's prices. The grade of B for Quality reflects minor complaints, like leaving the soil turned over and piled up around the softener, leaving an empty sports drink bottle, leaving the cord from the old system balled up on the ground, etc. They were really minor annoyances; I would use AOK again in a heartbeat."

"The sales rep took several water testsâ ¦ The sales rep took several water tests and showed me the results. She told me that I needed more than just a water softener. I also needed a system to address the rust and iron in my well water. I did not want to spend a fortune but the sales lady was pretty convincing. The price was good and the workmanship was excellent. My water is clean again ! Now I can tackle the original problem. My toilet has bad rust stains. I will either get it clean, or replace it. I could not do this until the water was fixed."

"Our water was turning everything yellow and had a smell with a lot of dirt in it. Steve the salesman came out and tested our water. He didn't try to pressure us he was very friendly. He offered us the all in one system and a deal they were running at the time for money off to haul our old system away. They offer a financing option with no money down. We decided to go with them vs the other companies because of the warranty on equipment. Others were cheaper but they offered the best warranty and financing which others did not. Another gentleman named Steve installed the equipment but he didn't arrive to our house until 7 at night when we were trying to get the kids in bed which was two hours past the later time we were told(3-5). But he installed everything in the dark and was nice. We still had dirt in our water and they said they would not bill until 100% completely satisfied. So they flushed out our pipes since the dirt was not coming from the system it was leftover. This worked great, but again the same guy Steve was two hours late and it was done a 8PM so we had to sleep with the whole house smelling like bleach. I think this type of work should be done first thing in the mornings so the house can air out. We are happy with our system everything works great. They service it every other month. No more yellow so no more cleaning constantly. No more orange hair and we can have white clothes. And no more smell!!!!"

"I'd like to say how impressed I am with this company and the service they provided us today. This is the first time we've had a home with a well and this morning I discovered we had no water at all. I thought it might be the well pump, which had no warranty from the previous owner. So, I called this company at 7:30 am and got an immediate answer! They said they'd be out at 11:30 today. Wesley actually arrived a little earlier than that. He discovered that a lizard had gotten trapped in a switch box and by clearing it out the problem could be solved. Sure enough it was!
