"I requested an estimate to replace an opener for one door and add a sliding lock to the second. Ben B, the technician, diagnosed the problem and prescribed a much cheaper option to repair my opener. He was courteous, professional and worked quickly. He explained maintenance steps we should take in the future. Ben also installed a sliding lock to reinforce our second door. The office called me first to let me know the timeframe in which he would arrive and Ben called me when he was 30 minutes out. "While Oleg came out on time and as scheduled for the estimate, we were having a powder room installed, and then our main bathroom remodeled, and he was professional and courteous, he stated that he would not do the two separately, that he'd need to do them together, which meant leaving us without a bathroom for over a month.  He also stated that his estimate would be for labor only, it would not include materials at all, nor fixtures, just strictly labor costs.  While my husband and I pretty much decided among ourselves that we most likely wouldn't be using Sweet Home Improvements for this remodel, we still were waiting to see what the estimate would be before making up our mind.  We never received an estimate when told one would be coming.  Overall, we liked Oleg and thought he seemed very knowledgeable in his field, but it bothers me when contractors don't follow through when they say they will do something.  I guess it's not a huge deal since we don't plan to use them, but it would have been nice to have gotten the estimate.
