"Absolutely outstanding! Roman came and gave us an accurate estimate for replacement of 19 overhead lights from conical recessed to flush to ceiling. We couldn't find exactly what we wanted but he got them and brought them for the installation visit; also put in about 5 dimmers. The most difficult coordination for us was installation of wall sconces since we were wallpapering the bathroom at the same time. We had to have the wiring put in first, then restore the drywall. Roman cut out the drywall squares so that they would be easy to put back and even put them back in so all we needed to do was spackle for the wallpaper people to cover the work. Then once the wallpaper was done he installed the sconces perfectly and even rehung the bathroom mirror. Great , friendly service! Attached pics of the ceiling light and sconces were rotated in the upload & I couldn't figure out how to change the rotation once uploaded."

"JZ Star Flooring worked on two projects for our new home that we purchased back in April. They did the following: (1) carpet removal and vinyl floor installation and (2) complete renovation of our master bathroom. In short, Jaime and his team did an incredible job with both projects. Our floors are beautiful and we are so happy with the precision in which the flooring team (Guillermo and Eduardo) did with our stairs and the entire second floor. They were quick but had incredible attention to detail. They installed luxury vinyl planks with accompanying wood baseboards with paint. They created custom lengths and even made advanced angle cuts for a particular section on the base of the stairs. They even came back weeks later to perfect a few “blink and you’ll miss it” items on the stairs. The overall process took about one and a half weeks from start to finish, and a few days to refinish at the end. For the master bathroom, he did a complete makeover and it came out gorgeous. We live in a community and had a boring white porcelain layout similar to most model homes in the area. We really wanted to have a more modern master bathroom. We found pictures of an ideal bathroom that we loved on Houzz and sent Jaime the layouts. They made it happen with incredible attention to detail! Our situation was unique as we were out of state and Jaime’s team would pick up materials from Home Depot/Lowe’s for us and sent us daily picture updates. We thought this was above and beyond given that we were unable to assess the quality of the work in person. In terms of the work, Jamie’s team truly went from the ground up. After demolition, he addressed uneven walls, uneven floors, cemented durock walls, and new shower basin and drain. We started with a new frameless glass waterfall shower with new built in niche with accent wall! New floor tiles were installed with beautiful quartz which we hand-selected. The bathtub was re-glazed with new fixtures to look modern and brand new. We installed a new custom multi-tiered Mahogany vanity with accent backsplash with vessel sink, faucet, soft-close drawers, custom handles, and matching Mahogany vanity mirrors -- Melki (Jaime’s recommendation) did a perfect job with immaculate attention to detail. We felt our money was well spent for this amazing custom look. Throughout the process, he would send us drafts and pictures of work he planned to do. If we need more woodwork in the future, we would go with him again. We also worked closely with Omar (part of Jaime’s team) and installed custom quartz on the vanity countertops and select areas of our bathroom shower. Lastly the light fixtures, towel fixtures, and toilet were also changed to fit our modern custom look. There was an issue with one floor tile being damaged and Jaime personally had his crew come and replace it free of charge in a timely fashion. The only caveat is that we were remodeling during a pandemic and this caused some delays with completion including waiting for items, broken deliveries, mismatched fixtures, scheduling, and personnel (4-6 weeks). Jaime was always available and a strong advocate to have his team complete the finishing touches as soon as possible. He would even respond at times at 10 pm at night to address our concerns. Ultimately, Jaime is an amazing contractor who goes above and beyond for his clients. As new homeowners, he gave us honest input and was always in closer communication with the progress and addressed any issues that arose. There were certainly small hurdles that occurred during the process but the work was always focused on achieving the best result for our desired price and we cannot wish for more than that. He is truly a great team leader who treats his members with respect and care. Thank you Jaime for everything that you have done for us! We will contact you if we have any needs in the future."
