He’s moved back to Alabama for his wife’s work and has decided to be his own boss again and is now taking jobs exclusively from Home Advisor. I hired him to replace balusters on our 3 staircases but instead, he created works of art at a great price. He also built some awesome columns to make a statement when reaching the top of one of the staircases. He can literally do anything. The most responsive and responsible contractor I have ever used. He does all the work himself and brings his own shop vac, broom, and mop and constantly cleans up as he goes. I could not recommend him more highly! They left no mess and they kept the dust and mud out of the rest of the house, which is a real plus in my book. I have 2 small children who always wanted to talk and play with the new faces in the house and they never once got aggravated with them. They played as they worked. I had a brand new tile shower installed by another company and steve and Stacie made sure to tape and cover everything up so that it didn’t get affected by mud or texture. "We have been dealing with contractors and painters for several years with much disappointment and dissatisfaction. Pitts Brothers was recommended by a neighbor when we were searching for an exterior painter for an outdated beach house we purchased out of state. Wow! We scheduled the estimate and they showed up when they said they would. Completed the estimate VERY timely. Gave an itemized breakdown of the costs (there were a few interior items like painting a 3 story foyer and replacing an outdated light in that foyer ), available start date and estimated completion date. Since it was purchased as a rental property, there were some work arounds from our end with renters and Joey was extremely accommodating. He scheduled exterior work when people were there and saved interior/going through the house for when it wasnâ t rented. We completed the walk through with him and HE pointed out things that he needed to touch up. It looked PERFECT to us! The site was left clean- cleaner than he found it! No empty drink cans/bottles, no cigarette butts, Not even spilled paint/splatter on the ground from the clean up- We aren’t used to that. He went out of his way to replace some loose boards on the front porch and step. He replaced a molding/ trim piece around an exterior door that they don’t even sell anymore so he had to buy wood pieces and create the piece. It looked original! He sent pictures almost daily (since we were out of town) of the progress, any questions/to clarify. Any expense outside of the original estimate was because we asked for something additional during the process. He was happy to clarify the request, give us an estimate on that, and add it to the list. When inclement weather interfered with planned exterior paint work, he rearranged and worked on some of the interior requests. Pitts Brothers showed up on time each day and worked a full day (8-3 or 4) with a short lunch break. I have never dealt with such professional contractors IN MY LIFE! I havenâ t dealt with many people as professional as Pitts Brothers in any line of work to be honest. So much so that if/when we need paint work done in our home state, I’ll call and see if they are willing to make a road trip :-)"

I had one month to get the remodel completed and back on VRBO. Through the past years we have remodeled several rent houses, flip houses and personal homes, and very familiar with construction and contractors. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE SUCCESS STORY FOR ANGI OF WHICH I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!! The local contractor I hired a month in advance, absolutely flaked out middle way through the remodel which caused me to turn for HELP TO ANGI since I didn’t have connections locally. Oxen RCC LLC was the FIRST to respond to my need of HELP. Oksen came one day later to give me an estimate. Oksen is professional, polite, helpful, punctual, detailed, resourceful, researches all options, can be interrupted, with excellent communication as well as detailed paperwork and billing from Cassandra! Thank Goodness Oxen RCC LLC had an opening in their schedule to SAVE MY REMODEL!!! He began with solving a tiny bathroom problem by creating a custom shower pan to increase the size of the shower that previously felt like taking a shower in a plastic bag! The tiling job INCREDIBLE with the transformation breathtaking!!! The removal of the popcorn ceiling, now looks like a perfectly smooth iced cake! Oksen is so kind to stop what he is doing to help with little odds and ends jobs that arise in the middle of the project at hand! Went on to remodel a second bath with a new vanity, cast iron shower pan, tile and glass shower door. Plumbing for a new washing machine. Repair drywall in several places , two barn doors, more tiling, more removal of popcorn ceilings with Beautifully Smooth Ceilings! Install new trim. Stain new stair treads. New trim.
