He’s moved back to Alabama for his wife’s work and has decided to be his own boss again and is now taking jobs exclusively from Home Advisor. I hired him to replace balusters on our 3 staircases but instead, he created works of art at a great price. He also built some awesome columns to make a statement when reaching the top of one of the staircases. He can literally do anything. The most responsive and responsible contractor I have ever used. He does all the work himself and brings his own shop vac, broom, and mop and constantly cleans up as he goes. I could not recommend him more highly! My Wife and I had considered a full kitchen remodel at the time of having the ceilings repaired but every contractor we spoke to wanted to do the kitchen and not the ceilings... except for Jorge... his first point of buisness was to make sure that our ceilings were beautiful, and repaired... he even made suggestions that made sense saved money and ended up being beautiful. We had 6 rooms replaced with flat Sheetrock celiengs, and installed recessed lighting, and other accent lights... while we were living in our home... "Recently invested in a vacation rental out of my state. I hired a local contractor one month in advance of the remodel for a smooth experience. I had one month to get the remodel completed and back on VRBO. Through the past years we have remodeled several rent houses, flip houses and personal homes, and very familiar with construction and contractors. The tiling job INCREDIBLE with the transformation breathtaking!!! The removal of the popcorn ceiling, now looks like a perfectly smooth iced cake! Oksen is so kind to stop what he is doing to help with little odds and ends jobs that arise in the middle of the project at hand! Went on to remodel a second bath with a new vanity, cast iron shower pan, tile and glass shower door. Plumbing for a new washing machine. Repair drywall in several places , two barn doors, more tiling, more removal of popcorn ceilings with Beautifully Smooth Ceilings! Install new trim. Stain new stair treads. New trim.
