"We choose ASP impact windows and sliding doors over other vendors because their product (SIW) had thicker aluminum and glass than other less expensive products. They were able to make one 'eyebrow' window in one piece due to glass thickness that other vendors would have had to do in two pieces due to size. We just felt that overall ASP's SIW windows offered a little more safety. Our city inspector must have thought the same thing because he commented several times about how strong they were and event wrote down what they were for his own personal needs. I assume he has seen a lot of windows to inspect, so that gave me even more confidence that we made the right decision. We also had hurricane fabric installed for a covered section of our patio to replace an accordion that was being removed for storage outside of patio furniture, gas grill and plants during a storm. The hurricane fabric is so strong and convenient, it folds up and is stored in a bag, sitting in our closet. Chris our ASP sales person was great at explaining and patient while we did our due diligence. It did take a while for manufacturing, but definitely worth the wait. The installers were professional, keeping the areas as clean as possible, We are very happy with our new impact windows and sliding doors. Our house looks great with the new windows (and accordions removed). Would highly recommend."

"East Coast Windows and Doors were fantastic! We had a rather large job, with 32+ openings being replaced with PGT Windguard / SIW. We got 3 quotes from different A-listed vendors, and I felt the most comfortable with ECW. They were able to speak to the fire codes in my area and what options were allowed. They were also the only vendor that was able to provide me with full glass options for a very large window on the side of the house using an alternative impact brand (SIW) for just these windows, as PGT did not manufacture them that large. As it turned out, they are also platinum distributors for PGT, which gives them deeper discounts with the manufacturer, and they beat the other vendor quotes by a meaningful margin! We visited their showroom where we were able to visually examine and walkthrough options with their knowledgeable team. Prior to ordering, Chris and Ed came out personally to make confirm all measurements and detailed options, giving us valuable feedback in the process. As this was a VERY large investment for us in our home, we wanted to feel 100% sure that we had everything covered, and ECW made sure that this was the case. The team performing the installation worked efficiently and was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Ed (owner) called me personally to keep me posted on the status of the installation and really went out of his was to make sure that we were satisfied and that everything was done fully to our specifications. "Although there were issues regarding the delivery of our windows (5 months, 0 communication from Florida Solar & Air and 2 follow up requests from us from date of purchase) our installation team and process was flawless. Installers Billy & Alejandro were thorough, clean, and professional throughout the entire installation process (3 days).Once installed we uncovered 1 issue with 3 of the windows where glass produces wavy sightlines and not clear view through windows. Were told this was just the way windows were produced and not a defect although we are suspect."
