"Baltic movers were excellent. On time, professional and friendly. Did the job perfectly. Moved my upright piano and some other home stuff very well. Would hire them back"
"The team (Mike is the only name I remember) Was extremely prompt, polite, courteous and professional. Both teamworkers were very outgoing and pleasant taking care of our items as though they were there own. Each item of furniture was wrapped carefully in saran wrap to protect from dust, dirt, and damage. They were very quick to finish the job, delivering and setting up everything as asked. I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to anybody needing a proficient moving team. "
"Good guys, had a little trouble following instructions times. I was doing a long distance move and had purchased three does an extra moving blankets. Instead of opening them and using them, we ran out of blankets towards the end and I didn’t know they had just pack the boxes in the truck. They also waited to do my baby grand electric piano until the end, and had one moving blanket set aside for it. There was damage."
"Excellent! We used Ready2Move after I purchased a gently used piano from Naples to Fort Myers. They arrived on time, used care & were organized & experienced."
"The 3-person team to move our 3-bedroom house was on time and exceptionally efficient. I've had a horrible experience with a previous moving company (our first time using a moving company) making me very hesitant about the professionalism in the industry but this company has changed my views. I highly recommend Teleport Moving and Storage and will use them again if needed."
"Angel Movers were excellent from the first phone call through complete move. Rick was quite flexible in working with my schedule for pickup and delivery. The moving team (Moses, John, and Ferris) were very professional and pleasant to work with. They did a great job handling all out bulking furniture including a piano. Great company. Great team. Excellent work!"
"Without hesitation, I highly recommend Woody & Sons Moving. Definitely the BEST MOVERS we've ever used! The guys showed up on time and worked very hard all day. Amazingly, they took the stress out of the move with their teamwork, pleasant smiles, and reassuring demeanor. They made the whole day a breeze!"
"The company was very responsive, pickup/delivery was late but they kept you updated on the status of your movers, which was awesome. The move process went very smooth, Kevin and Quaron were complete professionals, respectful, and courteous. They treated our belongings as if they were their own. They were knowledgeable and maneuvered huge furniture in confine places with ease, and WITHOUT a scratch. Moving can be very stressful , however thanks to JoChas Moving (the entire team) I was STRESS-FREE. I will definitely recommend JoChas Moving to friends and family. I Highly recommend them."

"All went well except the truck broke down AFTER it was loaded. All items had to be loaded onto another truck. But the two movers were very professional and kept their attitude positive even though they had to sit and wait for new truck to arrive and then load new truck. These men were excellent employees in their work ethics and cheerful attitude. Worked extra hard to keep our move at the 3 hours."
When loading a moving truck, the general rule is to load the heaviest and largest items first to create a stable base at the front of the truck, which helps balance the weight. You can start with large furniture like sofas, beds, mattresses, and tables to form a solid foundation, or begin by placing your heaviest boxes against the truck's walls to create a base layer. After the base is set, continue loading other large items like appliances and square furniture. Lighter and smaller objects, including most of your boxes, should be loaded last. They can be packed into gaps, around, and on top of the heavier items to maximize space. Following this order makes unloading easier and helps prevent damage to your belongings.
To find a reputable furniture shipper, start by asking your social circle for recommendations. You can also conduct online searches for long-distance or international furniture moving companies. When evaluating potential shippers, read online reviews and testimonials, understand the services they provide, and get quotes to ensure they fit within your budget.
To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.
A reasonable moving budget for local moves is $880 to $2,540 , while you can expect long-distance moves to cost between $2,700 to $10,000 , depending on distance, house size, and other cost factors. You can calculate your relocation budget by totaling the cost of your moving services, such as renting a moving truck, hiring professional movers, and packing services.
Moving straps like forearm or shoulder straps can usually support up to 800 pounds, sometimes more with specialized straps. However, that doesn’t mean that one person can always lift that much weight, just that the straps are rated for that amount. For example, some straps require two people working together to balance the weight of the heavy item.
