"I removed the tile from a concrete floor and some of the residue. I explained to all companies that I needed Linoleum Sheet Flooring installed but first needed the remaining residue removed and floor leveled. . First company gave me an estimate and then later stated I would have to do more floor prep work, of which I was hiring them for, before they would start. Second company came and said they could do all that was requested and would send me an estimate. Did not call or give an estimate. Contacted Best Flooring Tampa Bay and Patricia stated that they could do all that was requested, without seeing it first, and would send Arthur, the person that would do the work, to my home to measure and see how much leveling cement would be required. They were prompt to arrive and surveyed floor area. They quickly sent the estimate to which I agreed. A date was set and they promptly arrived and immediately started sanding the thin set grouting and leveling my floor. The floor really needed a lot of leveling and because of the thickness in areas needed a few days to cure. They again arrived promptly at the scheduled time and completed the the finish work, They then installed my flooring. I was really surprised at how fast they completed every thing along with the side molding. Fantastic job. Patricia and Arthur are real Pros and I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends."

"Don’t call any other contractors! Carlos can do absolutely everything! We had soft flooring in our bathroom near our toilet and after another company told us there was no problems, Carlos came out and immediately tore up the flooring and removed the toilet to reveal a leak in the sub flooring and mold behind the walls! He was able to return after letting the exposed flooring dry within the SAME WEEK! And replaced the flooring in the bathroom as well to avoid any future problems. While fixing this one problem he discovered a leak from our kitchen sink underneath our home which he fixed as well! He also fixed our main water valve as it was rusted over! The next week, Carlos came back to do the kitchen flooring for us as well while also installing support underneath our heavy sliding door to our patio! Next week he came to do our second bathroom flooring! And the next week even through the holidays he came by to install led lighting underneath our kitchen cabinets as well as change three of our outlets to GFCI! If you’ve got any home problems whatsoever Carlos is your guys! Whatever you need done he can get done for the BEST PRICES! Don’t waste your time with anyone else when Carlos can be your reliable contractor all year round!"

"It wasn't an easy repair job. I had started on it myself by removing most of the damaged hardwood and glue, but then putting the new hardwood in was a bit beyond me. I tried a handyman but wasn't happy with the quality of the work, so I came to Home Advisor and hired A.B. Floors and Restoration to complete the job. It took a while to actually get the work scheduled, and then they weren't able to complete it on a Saturday before a long holiday weekend. Then they didn't rescheduled to come out and finish on Tuesday, the next business day. However, the price was definitely right, and they gave me an additional 10% off for the inconvenience. So no harm, no foul. I'd definitely use them again and just be aware that there might be some scheduling issues. And, in fact, I do a little real estate investing on the side, and I almost certainly will use them again for hardwood repair."
