"I was very impressed with the service I received. Andrew, the technician showed up around an hour after I contacted the company to get a quote to have my dryer vent cleaned. He completed the work in about 15 minutes and cleaned the area around the vent so it was cleaner than when he arrived. He answered questions I had about the damage not having a clean vent could cause. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a dryer vent cleaned."

"Anthony and Brandon were excellent and very detailed. They arrived on time with a large trailer and backed it in for easy access. Good thing they had the trailer because the new a/c unit was larger than expected. Professional and quality work was done and I am happy with the results. They worked well as a team and cleaned up all the mess."

"We hired Blake to clean the carpet on our stairs. He was very careful to use coverings around corners and furniture and took extra care to protect our home. The carpet on our stairs now looks fresh and clean and has extended the life of the carpet. He provided a great service at a very reasonable price and was friendly and professional. Highly recommended."

Small jobs welcome

"Sheryls Cleaning did a move-in clean for us and did a great job. The price was reasonable. However, we also hired her to do the move out clean for our apartment. I confirmed the appointment time for Monday the Friday before. 20 minutes before our scheduled service I sent her a message with detailed directions because our apartment complex can be difficult to navigate. Fifteen minutes after the scheduled time she was not there and I still had not heard so I sent her a message. No response, so I called 5 minutes later and left a voicemail. Finally, after 30 minutes I messaged her saying I hoped everything was okay but I could not wait any longer because I had to be back at work. A few minutes later she texted me apologizing and said traffic was bad. I explained that I had tried to reach her numerous times. She said she was driving. Then, forty minutes after our scheduled time, she said she was on the way. I was already almost back to work and told her I was sorry but I could not stay and asked if she had availability another day. She said no, so I told her we would have to find someone else to do it but we would still be interested in doing a monthly clean with her. She seemed to be very annoyed that I was not willing to leave work again to go back to leave my key for her. I contacted her 3 times via text, once via phone call, and never got a response. Then she gave me attitude when I could not go back after I had already left work to let her in and waited for 30 past our appointment time for her. She then stopped responding to my texts. I had recommended her to friends, but I no longer will because of the customer service. I did my best to get in touch with her - she did not contact me to tell me she would be late or respond to any of my attempts to contact her. I would not recommend this company."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas

It’s possible that installing solar panels can lead to mold on the roof. The panels themselves are not the issue. Problems caused by improper installation—such as roof leaks and mounts that aren’t sealed properly—can cause mold. Another potential cause of mold is debris accumulation under panels, which can trap moisture. If you live somewhere with extreme snow, rain, or hail, your home could be more prone to mold.

You should clean your panels at least twice a year. It depends on your location. In dusty climates (think the Arizona desert), you may need to clean your panels more frequently. Dust can dramatically impact the electrical output. If you live in a climate with extreme weather, you may want to check your panels seasonally.

Having your roof cleaned can be worth it because it improves the life span of the materials on the roof. You won’t have to pay a roof replacement cost as often when you clean the roof regularly.

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.
