"Ka2 Junk Removal had a quick response on my initial inquiry; they they came out on the agreed upon date for a quote and were prompt on the time they were coming and haf tremendous communication. I had a large above ground pool to be removed and the work was exceptional. I am also using their service to remove my hot tub from our lanai. I would highly recommend this company."

"Our 92 yr old father has dementia, had to move him to a memory care facility. The time table was all set, for Monday. After another wandering episode it was decided the move had to be rescheduled to ASAP. They came Sunday afternoon, made the trip to Fort Myers! We moved gramp in Monday morning. Very accommodating, professional and personable. A young man willing to promote his business to make it grow and pay for his new equipment. So next we have to move gram to smaller apt. REMOVAL SOLUTIONS will get the call! Also anything that doesnâ t fit, he will dispose of. I have to say, Even with our need to move sooner the price Didnâ t change!!! Give this young man a call, his prices are Much Cheaper than others!"

Waste Removal Services questions, answered by experts

To drain a broken toilet, place towels or plastic sheeting around the base in case of splashing or overflowing. Next, shut off the toilet’s water supply, usually via a valve on the wall behind the toilet. Begin flushing the handle to remove as much water as possible from the tank and the bowl. Don’t flush the toilet if it’s clogged, though. From there, use a large sponge to soak up any remaining water and wring it over a bucket.

If you're removing ivy as part of an effort to tidy up your yard, consider contacting a local yard cleanup company so that they can help you remove other debris, like clippings and branches. Or, if you’ve opted to hire a junk removal service, consider what other areas of the home you can clean out to get your money’s worth from the trash pick up.

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. As you can imagine, this option creates fire hazards, especially since roots can burn underground, hidden, for long afterward. That’s why many states and cities have outlawed the use of stump burning entirely. We do not recommend this option as a viable alternative unless you get a permit from the local fire department and practice all safe burning procedures.

Others prefer a more long-term DIY approach of degrading the stump with home mixtures like Epsom salt and vinegar injected directly into it. This may help the stump decay faster, allowing homeowners to dig it out themselves, but it’s still a lengthy process. It usually takes months for a stump to start falling apart with such treatments, and in the meantime, it can be vulnerable to rot, insects, and other problems.

Costs range from $200 to $1,000, depending on volume, material type, and labor.

The list of what removes caulk residue includes rubbing alcohol. In some cases, rubbing alcohol can also help remove water-based caulk. However, old caulk or caulk that’s in layers from years of upkeep and projects might prove to be too much for simple rubbing alcohol and may require a caulk-removing solution from a home improvement store.
