"Installation went very well. The tech was knowledgeable and professional. Problem was when I received my cc bill. I was billed the $129 Angie's List fee which was to include TV wall mount (mount not include), connect all necessary video and basic audio, neatly dress wires, configure peripheral devices, and conceal in-wall wires. And I was billed $140.49 from HELLOTECH. I'm still trying to get the $140.49 charge reversed."

"Paul was professional , polite, and timely. His pricing was more than fair. He installed 4 outlets (two double and two quads) while adding 2 circuits to our basement. He did an excellent job and we had him come back to install another cable outlet and electrical outlet in a bedroom/office. He cleaned the areas where he worked prior to leaving. We will certainly hire him for any future electrical work."

"Before Max came he kindly advised me on what center speaker to buy. He did not profit from that recommendation but offered it as the best choice for my budget.
He came to our home, evaluated our needs based on our listening habits and likes...not his.
He explained the changes he made and why. He further adjusted the Harmony remote so I would not accidently
undo the things he had done.

In the end it sounded like we had a new system. Another company had recommended over $2000 of changes to our system.
Max is friendly, speaks plain English (not techeese) and thorough.
It was a pleasant experience all around."

Tv Antenna Installation questions, answered by experts

The shorter the coaxial cable, the better. The further you run the cable, the more signal loss you'll experience. At 50 feet, you'll see significant signal loss, and by 100 feet, you'll experience at least a 30% drop in signal strength.

Yes, they assess geographic and structural factors to recommend suitable models.

Before investing in a TV antenna repair, there are a few steps you can take to help boost your signal quality. Removing obstacles like tree branches can help improve your signal strength. Along the same line, moving an indoor antenna away from obstacles can also help. These should be near a window, as high as possible. If these steps don’t work, speak with a TV antenna technician about a signal amplifier to help boost your signal even further.

The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.

Coax cable connects to your television, modem, or cable box. Look for a female coax connection on these devices. Your coax cable will connect to any of these. The other end of the wire runs to the service connection coming into the house.
