Small jobs welcome

"Devin and Thomas were very professional installing my built in oven. It was difficult to find someone to do this job but Devin did an excellent job. He showed up when he said he would and cleaned up after the installation. I went on to call him several more times to repair other issues in and outside my home. Each time the work was done to my satisfaction and timely. I would recommend this company highly."

"Roy has provided absolutely outstanding service at two condos I lease out in Cape Coral FL. He is reliable and knowledgeable about maintaining property over the long term. He makes suggestions of how to prevent issues from reoccurring. He has replaced incandescent bulbs in light fixtures with LEDS that over the longterm reduce costs. He notices potential issues and 'keeps an eye on them' until it is time to act. If a problem occurs that he does not handle, he refers someone who also does quality work. I am very grateful for the thorough, professional and caring service Roy provides. My Tenants and I are very fortunate, indeed!"

"Simon does it right, he will tell you what he needs, and will provide you solutions if something needs to be worked through on the project. He is a good listener and is truly understanding. He has my highest level of recommendation for the work that he did. He committed to the project, and completed his assignment prior to the project deadline. 5 stars. My project was not easy."

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

You should consider the time needed to clean and prepare your bedroom set for transit. A few days before moving, vacuum, dust, and clean your furniture with a mild cleaning solution. Depending on the movers and the services you pick, you might need to pre-pack the mattress and box spring in boxes designed for beds and disassemble some furniture by removing doors and hardware. Finally, don’t forget to take plenty of pictures documenting the pre-move condition in case you need to file a claim.

To treat sun-damaged furniture, clean the surface thoroughly to remove dirt and debris. Next, assess the damage: Consider refinishing or applying a protective sealant for faded finishes. Apply furniture oil or conditioner to restore moisture to cracked or dry wood. Remember, the best way to treat your furniture is to prevent damage in the first place. Regular maintenance and preventive measures will keep your furniture looking its best. Lastly, it may be best to consult a professional furniture restorer or refinisher for expert repairs and restoration in severe cases.

Yes, vinegar can break down the adhesive bond, effectively dissolving the glue from wood. It will be much easier to wipe away. Vinegar’s acidity, which helps to make it an effective all-purpose cleaner, can also aid in removing adhesive with less chance of damaging the wood and finish than more aggressive solvents.

Yes, there are several wood filler products on the market that look like wood. Your best bet is to take a cabinet door to your local hardware store to match the appropriate wood filler to your door. Some brands make filler that is masked to look like wood and can also be sanded, cut, stained, and painted.

Discuss design preferences and material choices before work begins for cohesive results.
